Uma problemática fundamental da música eletroacústica mista surge em situações ambíguas oriundas das mesclas entre a esfera instrumental e a eletroacústica, que podem colocar em dúvida não somente a origem das fontes sonoras, mas também os processos pelos quais os sons podem ter sido submetidos ao longo da composição. Nesses casos, denominados anamorfoses, surgem desconexões, desvios no desenrolar mais comum e esperado para certos gestos instrumentais. A presença humana na situação da performance tende a polarizar as atenções e, portanto, acentuar essas eventuais distorções, uma vez que as anamorfoses atuam no limiar entre relações audiovisuais mais diretas – o que é visto em termos gestuais é coerente com o que é escutado – e relações mais distantes – o que é visto não apresenta conexão imediata com o que é escutado.Na introdução e na primeira parte do livro é apresentado um panorama histórico da música eletroacústica mista, além de conceitos que servirão de base para fundamentar a problemática das anamorfoses e um mapeamento de exemplos considerados representativos desta problemática.Já na segunda parte do livro o autor busca um aprofundamento da questão por meio da análise de duas obras eletroacústicas mistas: Parcours de l’Entité (1994), de Flo Menezes, e Altra voce (1999), de Luciano Berio. Desse modo, as anamorfoses na música eletroacústica mista são apresentadas tanto do ponto de vista dos materiais musicais em si como da dinâmica global da performance, já que elementos extramusicais são frequentemente previstos por compositores para enfatizar tais distorções.

The interest in opioids such as morphine, the prototypical opioid ligand, has been maintained through the years. The identification of endogenous opioids and their receptors (mu, delta, kappa, and nociceptin), molecular cloning, and the elucidation of the crystal structures of opioid receptors represent key milestones in opioid research. The opioid system modulates numerous pharmacological responses, with therapeutic (i.e., analgesia) and detrimental side effects (i.e., addiction). The medical use and misuse of opioids have dramatically increased, leading to the 21st century opioid crisis. This book presents recent developments in opioid drug discovery, specifically in the medicinal chemistry and pharmacology of new ligands targeting the opioid receptors as effective and safe therapeutics for human diseases. Furthermore, it draws a special attention to advancing concepts and strategies in opioid drug discovery to mitigate opioid liabilities. The diversity among the discussed topics is a testimony to the complexity of the opioid system, which results from the expression, regulation, and functional role of ligands and receptors. This last category is also very broad, since it includes mental and emotional states, together with culturally constructed knowledge, such as the reciprocal identification of social roles and positions. The assumption of a cognitive point of view brings to the foreground a number of new questions regarding how information about the context is organized in the mind and how this kind of knowledge is used in specific communicative situations. A related, very important question concerns the role played in this process by theory of mind abilities (ToM), both in typical and atypical populations. Als Versuch einer Antwort wird im wachstumstheoretischen Kontext des Modells überlappender Generationen die optimale Finanzpolitik entworfen, die sich als simultanes Optimum von Staatsausgaben, Staatsverschuldung und Besteuerung darstellt. Erweitert man die Analyse um das Vererbungsmotiv, stellt sich die Frage nach der optimalen Politik gänzlich neu, da in diesem Modellrahmen das Ricardianische Äquivalenztheorem reale Effekte der Staatsverschuldung negiert. Es zeigt sich indes, daß für die Gültigkeit dieses Theorems die Staatsverschuldung eine bestimmte Grenze überschreiten muß und daß die optimale Staatsverschuldung stets unterhalb dieser Grenze liegt. Die optimale Finanzpolitik ist mithin unabhängig von der Existenz eines Vererbungsmotivs. Für das Schenkungsmotiv gelten analoge Überlegungen.

"We use evaluative terms and concepts every day. We call actions right and wrong, teachers wise and ignorant, and pictures elegant and grotesque. Philosophers place evaluative concepts into two camps. Thin concepts, such as goodness and badness, and rightness and wrongness have evaluative content, but they supposedly have no or hardly any nonevaluative, descriptive content: they supposedly give little or no specific idea about the character of the person or thing described. In contrast, thick concepts such as kindness, elegance and wisdom supposedly give a more specific idea of people or things. Yet, given typical linguistic conventions, thick concepts also convey evaluation. Kind people are often viewed positively whilst ignorance has negative connotations.The distinction between thin and thick concepts is frequently drawn in philosophy and is central to everyday life. However, very few articles or books discuss the distinction. In this full-length study, Simon Kirchin discusses thin and thick concepts, highlighting key assumptions, questions and arguments, many of which have gone unnoticed. Kirchin focuses in on the debate between 'separationists' (those who think that thick concepts can be separated into component parts of evaluative, often very 'thin', content and nonevaluative content) and 'nonseparationists' (who deny this).Thick Evaluation argues for a version of nonseparationism, and in doing so argues both that many concepts are evaluative and also that evaluation is not exhausted by thin positive and negative stances."

In this bachelor thesis, an existing wireless sensor concept was examined with regard to software optimization possibilities. First, the application possibilities of such sensor systems in the existing maintenance strategies were described. Subsequently, an analysis of the previous sensor concept was carried out, on the basis of which an alternative concept to communication optimisation was realised with the existing hardware. By replacing the previously used application protocol HTTP with the lightweight MQTT, an alternative sensor concept was created. In addition, a measurement concept was developed to determine the transmission time, which allows a comparison with the existing sensor concept. It was thus possible to evaluate the extent to which the objective had been achieved. ---- german ---- Im Rahmen dieser Bachelorarbeit wurde ein bestehendes kabelloses Sensorkonzept hinsichtlich softwareseitiger Optimierungsmglichkeiten untersucht. Es wurden zunchst die Anwendungsmglichkeiten solcher Sensorsysteme in den bestehenden Instandhaltungsstrategien beschrieben. Anschlieend erfolgte eine Analyse des bisherigen Sensorkonzepts, auf deren Basis mit der vorhandenen Hardware ein Alternativkonzept zur kommunikationstechnischen Optimierung realisiert wurde. Durch das Ersetzen des bisher verwendeten Anwendungsprotokolls HTTP durch das leichtgewichtige MQTT entstand ein alternatives Sensorkonzept. Zudem wurde ein Messkonzept zur Bestimmung der zur Datenbertragung bentigten Sendedauer entwickelt, welches einen Vergleich mit dem bestehenden Sensorkonzept ermglicht.
