2012年，潘麟先生在陝西省西安市終南山香積古寺講授了《金剛經》，本書是根據此次授課錄音整理而成。有鑒於《金剛經》義理精深，普通人難以理解，以及《金剛經》被神秘化、宗教化、庸俗化之現狀，潘麟先生從生命實踐的視角，結合時代特點，深入淺出地引領讀者直探《金剛經》之本義，重新認識東方文化的內涵與本質。 2017年1月，本書由五洲傳播出版社出版；2019年3月，本書由美國學術出版社出版；2019年9月，本書中文繁體版由時英出版社出版。

On 10 and 11 May 2006 the international conference on the theme “River, landscape and land conservation. Overcoming emergencies and grasping opportunities” was held in the main lecture hall of Florence University. The initiative was promoted and organised by the PhD course in Landscape Design – Professor Giulio G. Rizzo, Dr. Michele Ercolini – and by the Master degree course in Landscaping – Professor Guido Ferrara – of the University of Florence. The majority of the addresses presented during the two days of work, and included in this book, were characterised by the cultural and scientific input of the initiative, in other words the attempt to transform a “system of demands” (namely the requirements of land conservation) into a “system of opportunities” for the design of new landscapes.Nei giorni 10 e 11 maggio 2006 si è tenuto a Firenze, presso l'Aula Magna del Rettorato, il Convegno internazionale sul tema "Fiume, paesaggio, difesa del suolo. Superare le emergenze, cogliere le opportunità". L'input culturale e scientifico di tale iniziativa (promossa ed organizzata dal Dottorato di Ricerca in Progettazione Paesistica – prof. Giulio G. Rizzo, dott. Michele Ercolini – e dal Master in Paesaggistica – prof. Guido Ferrara – dell'Università degli Studi di Firenze), vale a dire il tentativo di trasformare un "sistema di esigenze" (riconducibile a necessità di difesa del suolo) in un "sistema di opportunità" per la progettazione di "nuovi paesaggi", ha contraddistinto la maggior parte delle relazioni presentate nelle due giornate di lavoro ed inserite nel presente volume.

Esta obra presenta la relación epistolar que durante poco más de dos décadas sostuvo Francisco Ayala García-Duarte con diversas autoridades de la editorial mexicana Fondo de Cultura Económica. El escritor granadino fue uno de los miles de españoles exiliados al perder la Guerra Civil (1936-1939) el bando republicano y peregrinó por diversos países americanos antes de regresar a su patria. El estudio introductorio contempla el complejo contexto histórico internacional en el que se desarrolló la relación epistolar y en él se da noticia de los principales protagonistas de las misivas aludidas: Francisco Ayala, Daniel Cosío Villegas y Arnaldo Orfila Reynal. Asimismo, da cuenta de los esfuerzos de Ayala por continuar con su prolífica vida intelectual durante los azarosos años en que se dio el trasiego de cartas, como es evidente en el análisis que se hace de algunas de las redes a las que se incorporó a lo largo de su dilatada vida y el funcionamiento de éstas a través de países y continentes.

In recent years, the building sector has been turning towards intervening in the existing city building stock. In fact, it is generally accepted that the refurbishment of buildings and urban regeneration based on sustainability must form the axis of reformulation of the building sector. At present, achieving sustainable urban development inevitably involves improving existing buildings, thereby preventing the need for city growth, and for the emptying of established neighborhoods. Furthermore, considering the whole life cycle, the great amount of greenhouse emissions derived from the construction sector is well known; thus, in order to reach a decarbonized society, it is important to provide eco-efficient construction materials and solutions, adding the principles of the circular economy and resource efficiency. Therefore, the theme of this Special Issue is the “Decarbonization and Circular Economy in the Sustainable Development and Renovation of Buildings and Neighborhoods” in response to the objectives not only raised in the Horizon 2020 but by all the people who seek a more sustainable world. This Special Issue of Sustainability focuses on, but is not limited to: • Obtaining an overview of the environmental problems that arise from construction activity, focusing on refurbishment as an alternative to the current crisis in the construction sector, as well as on actions designed to minimize environmental effects on the environment; • Searching for new alternatives to conventional construction solutions that minimize the environmental impact of the construction activity, improve indoor environmental quality of buildings, build or refurbish, always from a rentable and optimal cost in time, and implement a circular economy and an efficient resource and waste management; • Minimizing the consumption of material resources, energy consumption and CO2 emissions in construction and looking for the proper management of construction and demolition waste and the opportunities for their recycling and reuse; • Sustainable planning and urban development, for an ordered and sustainable growth.
