FISHERMEN'S COURT CASE DISMISSED: On 20 January 2015 NAMSOV, the Fishing Enterprises (Proprietary) Limited that employed over 1900 Namibians launched a legal battle in Namibian High Court against the Fisheries Minister Bernhardt Esau who removed the fishing quotas of local companies and awards them to his friends, families and some international partners. Esau, Sacky Shangala, Albert Kawana and Hage Geingob are the main champions behind the Law Reform and Development Commission (LRDC) so-called ''law reform notion'' in advocating the Third Namibian Constitution Amendment bill, targeting the Electoral Act, 2014 (Act No. 5 of 2014) and Marine Resources Act No. 27 of 2000 as amended to empower the unquenchable authority to the President and certain ministries like Fisheries and Marine Resources.
