Aquest volum recull les contribucions que es van presentar a la vint-i-tresena edició del Col·loqui Lingüístic de la Universitat de Barcelona (CLUB 23), el qual, amb el títol «Noves aproximacions a la lexicografia dialectal», va tractar les diferents relacions que es poden establir entre la dialectologia i la lexicografia. En el marc d’aquesta trobada es va fer un èmfasi especial en els aspectes següents: els diversos elements diatòpics que són presents en els diccionaris dialectals, considerats tant des de la perspectiva diacrònica com des de la perspectiva diacrònica; la descripció de projectes que vinculen les disciplines esmentades —les característiques del Tresor lexicogràfic valencià o l’explotació informàtica del Diccionari català-valencià-balear—, i els aspectes més remarcables que configuren els diccionaris espontanis, duts a terme per autors no lingüistes, tot destacant la seva aplicació en l’estudi de la variació i del canvi lingüístics. El darrer capítol presenta una visió de l’estatut epistemològic del lèxic i la semàntica des de la mirada de la complèxica (complexitat) i presenta relacions entre l’estudi d’aquests vessants de la lingüística i aspectes de la cognició íntimament relacionats amb aquells des de la visió de la neurociència.

Natural deep eutectic solvents (NADES) are pharmaceutically accepted systems not only because they typically offer a serious enhancement of active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) solubility, but also due to their non-toxicity. This fortunate conjuncture allows for designing new media for escalation and controlled release of APIs. For example, composition optimisation of a series of NADES comprising choline chloride with multi-hydroxyl compounds was successfully performed for a set of sulphonamide-based drugs. These results confirmed that NADES in general, and the ones based on choline chloride and glycerol particularly, are an attractive alternative to traditional solvents for sulphonamide dissolution. Experiments augmented with in silico modelling can offer deeper insights into the thermodynamic characteristics of these systems and an explanation for the origin of the observed solubility enhancement. Research of this type offers universal resolutions to the problem of low solubility issues for many types of drugs. Of particular interest is that such screening is not restricted to artificial in vitro environments but can be also easily adopted for the study of modelled in vivo situations. One of very important and interesting examples is a new curcumin–NADES formulation preserving its beneficial properties even after dilution with FaSSIF solution, which mimicks intestinal absorption.

Wie reagieren Kommunen auf steigende Sozialhilfekosten? Am Beispiel der neun badenwürttembergischen Stadtkreise werden die sozialpolitischen Reaktionen - Zuschußkürzungen und Kostenverlagerungen - im Zeitraum 1980 bis 1992 untersucht. Einen weiteren Schwerpunkt bildet die Analyse finanzpolitischer kommunaler Reaktionen auf «fiscal stress» durch Sozialhilfekostenzuwächse und Einnahmenausfälle. Dabei wird insbesondere das «Cutback Management» der Städte Freiburg, Mannheim und Stuttgart betrachtet. Es zeigt sich, daß die «Flucht aus dem Haushalt» eine wichtige Anpassungsreaktion darstellt. Die Daten für die empirischen Untersuchungen wurden vor Ort erhoben und durch Informationen aus über hundert Interviews im sozialen, administrativen und politischen Bereich ergänzt.
