The seventh-day Sabbath is the biblical day of rest that God set apart, blessed, and hallowed at Creation, the seventh day of the week, known today as Saturday. It runs from Friday sunset to Saturday sunset. The commandment to keep it holy appears in Exodus 20:8–11 as part of the moral law God wrote with His own finger in stone. It has never been changed by Scripture, and it still calls believers today exactly as it did the disciples, the Reformation saints, and the early Adventist pioneers.
