Wednesday, June 24: Governor Kate Brown has announced that it will be required to wear masks in all public settings beginning this day. To follow these guidelines, we will be requiring all clients, staff, and volunteers to wear masks while in the Day Center. We do have masks available if you forget yours. Thursday, June 25: Monthly bus passes for July will be distributed via phone or in person during the hours of 9-11 AM. Monday, June 29: The Ainsworth United Church of Christ we are housed in will be remodeling the basement bathrooms. The demolition for the bathrooms will begin on this day. The project is projected for 3 months. This meaning, we will not have toilet or shower access in the Day Center. There will be 2 porta-potties outside and the upstairs bathroom will be available for handicap access. Friday, July 3: Day Center will be closed for the observance of Independence Day. Monday, July 6: Day Center will soft open, we will open our hours to 9AM-1PM on Monday through Friday. Breakfast hours: 9-10:30AM, Lunch served at 12PM as a hot lunch to-go, there will not be seconds available. We will continue to maintain the physical distance guidelines of 6 feet in the Day Center. We will have tables set up, chairs spaced out, and limit to 3 computers to meet these guidelines. Masks will continue to be required while at the Day Center except when eating or drinking. Laundry vouchers to Alpine Laundry will continue to be provided weekly. Our top concern is to maintain the health and safety of all clients, staff, and volunteers while adhering to public health guidelines.
