She is a fearless creative, who wants to share her story through the music she makes. Her purpose is to heal people through her music. She wants to cross borders and her truth all through music. SBX wants to be able to show her love through her creativity and get her own peace and therapy in the process. Nobody can deny that her dominance within the music space has been nothing short of a spectacle to watch. Those who know her story and how she’s come up, will agree that the level that’s she’s currently working on just feels sort of magical. 01 I always say music is the actual universal language. Music has always been her first love. She grew up in a very music oriented family, it was bound for her to fall Inlove with it, it's just been a sense of peace and therapy, it really plays a big part in her life, she could never see herself doing anything else, but this. Before she started writing songs, she has been listening to other people's songs and she relates so much. She states that some songs saved her, they kept her together and they kept her connected to life also into her soul and spirit. In terms of what inspires her music, she feels like anything goes, but still feels like if someone listens to her music well enough, there's a recurring theme that mostly speaks about relationships a lot. SBX doesn’t believe in idols, but she believes in God and inspirations, she can attest that God has been doing the most for her and her career in music. Her biggest inspiration is Rihanna she loves the way she transitioned from music to business. She has been singing since she was eight years old around that time she entered her first talent show when she was in grade four. She was not sure about it, but she did great, from then she only started taking song writing seriously in 2019, which was also the same year that she started recording. When it comes to my music, whatever I experienced, whatever touches my heart, whatever touches my spirit and my soul is what will inspire the music. Um, it's what will contributes lyrics. It's what will contribute to the music videos. You know, I want things to be as close as possible to the truth and, um, yeah, that's, that's, that's what it is when it comes to my music. 02 I just want to let my supporters know that it's okay to be yourself, It's okay to love. Her plan is to change the game and come with a different taste in the female hip hop game, she also believes in unity through music. "As female artists we must come together as one and change the game than beefing with each other“. She fell in love with music with her whole heart since grade 7, but she was shy to get herself out there. Ombrage would write and write then keep it, till the day she decided to actually write something then go record it that’s when she was doing grade 12 everything came together and she began to take it serious from there. 05 She aims to inspire other people who are at the same age as she is ,kids and all other people especially when they feel like giving up in life ,they should always remember why they started. But regardless of form, all of these represent a violation of human dignity and human rights. GBV remains a widespread and under-reported problem in South Africa. Let’s continue to address it and never stop tackling this evil. The war against GBV is not won yet… 07 SUPERSTAR DJon Superstar Dj ONthe THERise, RISE CCheezyy CCHEEZYY. Tlaishego Lebotse Born and raised in Mpheleng a small village in Dennilton just outside Groblasdaal in Limpopo. His love and interest in music, particularly Hip-Hop started at a tender age of 15. He started of as a rapper then later transitioned to being a Hip-Hop DJ which he fell in love with, the journey began when he started mixing on his friend’s computer then later learned how to use CDJs and he started to understand his craft. 08 Dj PH inspires him so much and he is actually the reason why he chose Hip Hop genre as a DJ. “I have seen the Impact he has on the South African Hip Hop industry through his work and one day I hope to walk the same path as him”. CCheezyy’s most memorable moment was when he met Judy Jay, which became an eye opener, it led him to realise that one day he can actually make a living out of being a DJ. He states that Judy Jay is way ahead of her peers, directly and indirectly she taught him how to build his brand and how to be consistent in the industry. Later she invited him to play at her very first event in Limpopo alongside Industry giants and he will forever cherish those moments. One mistake that he has noticed is that artist are rushing the process and they lack patience. “I believe that in a cutthroat industry like the entertainment industry patience and being humble is key”.
