We offer no-fee scholarships to students from some of Cape Town’s poorest neighbourhoods and support them for 19 years (Grade RR to Grade 12 and ve years post matric) through character-based and career focused education. Our beneciaries include approximately 800 students from grade RR to 12, 250+ post-matric students and more than 3000 parents and other members of the communities we serve. You can change lives by simply donating any of our Wish List items . From stationery and books to uniforms and sporting equipment, donated items are just as valuable as monetary donations as it reduces our operational costs. In-kind donations to Christel House are tax deductible in terms of Section 18A of the Income Tax Act of 1962. As such, individuals and businesses qualify to receive a tax certicate for the value of the item(s) donated. Businesses can also receive BEE points for their contributions. Cost per bus/year Christel House provides free, daily transport to all of its 800 students to and from school. Students come from 20 impoverished areas in the Cape Flats, including (amongst other) Langa, Phillippi, Strandfontein and Hanover Park.
