Open University This could be a great opportunity to start a distance learning course. Check out the syllabus online with Open University. 1. Outside activities If you have a garden, use it. Not just for exercise but also regular fresh air. If you don’t have a garden use your close s t open space, but keep a distance from others. 2. Exercise apps Search your A pp store (iPhone) or P lay store (Android) for fitness apps, there are loads out there. I find the ones with daily activities are the best. 3. Virtual classes There are lots of virtual fitness classes on - line, here is an example of a remote Pilates class: https:// pilateslive.co .uk/ 1. Virtual pub Try a group video call with your mates with a glass of wine, or a beer. Try one of the following tools: Google Hangouts Zoom, Skype, Face time, Microsoft Teams. 2. Live open audio channel – Zello Zello is a type of ‘walkie talkie’ app, which you and you friends can communicate through on specific channels. https://zello.com/ This is a great app to keep open when you’re watching a film remotely with friends, or if you’re working on a project with colleagues during the day. I recommend trying this one! 1. Subscribe to an audio book provider If you’re not into reading but love stories, this is a great time to get a subscription to an audio book provider, like Audible of Google audio books. 2. Remote book club If you know a few people who enjoy reading, why not try to connect once a week over a video call to review a particular book together?
