Give me your blessings so that I will have no more birth from now on. Though I am unaware of what is there before me or behind me, I am confident that I will live my life completely. I would therefore humbly beg You to be kind enough to grant me salvation. Having discarded the three major desires, (mannaasai, ponnaasai, pennaasai), I have sought your sacred Feet and do grace me and unite me unto You. Oh Mother, embrace me with love and grant me a blessed happy life not just in this world, but make me to live in both the worlds. (Iga bara sowbagyam) Oh Umaiyammai, I murmur this text as a mad and simple poor person. If ever all Your devotees sing this text like me will live for many years in this world and will be blessed with good health and wealth. I praise You, my beloved Mother, Kaali Paraasakti residing at Chebel! Ôm Sakthi! Paraasakti
