You have to go to them sometimes.” This seems to be true with many things: Initiating contact with someone you are attracted to or simply wanting to have a talk with someone. As someone with social anxiety and autism, I can definitely relate to the fear of approaching and connecting with others. #2: “I think we dream so we don’t have to be apart for so long. If we’re in each other’s dreams, we can be together all the time.” Now that's what I would call an eye-opener. Definitely a unique way of thinking why we dream. I can somewhat relate to this quote. I used to dream a lot about my past girlfriend and would feel sad when the dream ended and I woke up. How about you? #3: “I used to believe in forever, but forever’s too good to be true.” This reminds me of a story: King Solomon was once asked what sentence would be both applicable in good and bad moments, whereupon he answered with: “This too shall pass.” #4: “I don’t feel very much like Pooh today,” said Pooh. “There there,” said Piglet. “I’ll bring you tea and honey until you do.” Now, I am not sure how to interpret this quote, but I feel like it means: If you don’t feel good, you sometimes just need to drink some water, eat something, or simply go out for a walk. What do you think? #5: “Just because an animal is large, it doesn’t mean he doesn’t want kindness; however big Tigger seems to be, remember that he wants as much kindness as Roo.” Just because someone has many tattoos, a bald head, and a lot of muscle doesn’t mean that person is a criminal. #6: “Pooh,” said Rabbit kindly, “you haven’t any brain.” “I know,” said Pooh humbly.” I guess accepting the way you are, to be self-content, is one of the wisest lessons people can learn. #7: “I wish I could jump like that,” he thought. “Some can and some can’t. That’s how it is.” Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid. #8: “There must be somebody there, because somebody must have said “Nobody.” Even if this universe (or any other) didn’t exist, there still is something, namely “nothing” itself. #9: “You’re braver than you believe and stronger and smarter than you think.” Yes, Winnie-the-Pooh apparently truly said this. I believe many people seem to underestimate themselves and focus too much on the negative. #10: “Pooh felt that he ought to say something helpful about it, but didn’t quite know what. So he decided to do something helpful instead.” I guess, in the end, actions matter more than words. Sometimes just hugging and comforting the other can do more wonders than just talking about it.
