BALI PANDEMIC FUNDRAISER The Artists of Taman Ubud, Bali 100% of the art sales will go towards supporting Balinese artists and the wider community during this difficult time. As Bali depends on tourism for up to 80% of the island’s GDP, many Balinese are struggling to cover their basic living costs. The quiet times on the island have proven to be a time when many Balinese are returning to traditions such as farming, craft and art. Many of the participating artists are keen to use this time to return back to their craft. This art fundraiser will directly support: •Artists who are either out of work or have minimized work during the difficult times as a result of the Pandemic •Non-profit organization, Yayasan Bali Udyana Sari, which aims to 1) Provide health care and essentials to the elderly 2) establish Bali’s first mobile clinic to provide quality healthcare to those most at-risk around the island 3) Provide quality day care to toddlers 4) Give essential food and other items to Balinese struck with disability and poverty How to Purchase an Art Piece To arrange a viewing, please contact Ayu Soma on WhatsApp (+62 813 5366 9685) For collectors outside of Bali please send an email to Marisse Reyes at [email protected] to reserve the piece.
