Build Strike: Will finish on Friday 23rd September Production Gate Event Perimeter Pedestrian Entrance • 4 x staff • Toilets/park entrance • Egress position only • Monitor toilets for antisocial/criminal behaviour • Support crossing • Direct attendees to event entrance • Direct attendees to the station • Toilets in park entrance • Monitor toilets for antisocial/criminal behaviour • Direct attendees to event entrance T Entrance to park from Beckenham Hill Road 2 x directional stewards T • Egress position • Use of X8 for egress • Control at X8 T • Direct people away from lake to egress route Response team at this point, closure of Highland Croft • Egress position • Direct attendees to use path to Beckenham Hill Road rather than exiting through park. • Support egress traffic curfew Toilets and Westgate Road Stewards • 2 x staff • Security must be in position any time this gate is unlocked • No vehicles should be accessing aside from blue lights/ authorised by event control. • Park still open to pedestrians etc • Monitor for antisocial behaviour in surrounding area not to be used for access, •Egress position •Monitor for antisocial behaviour barriers to be erected •Provide a visual security presence Hard road closure, extra • 2 x staff • Direct attendees to crossing • Monitor crossing point • Report any concerns to event control stewarding, no access • 2 x staff • Direct pedestrians and vehicles away form Beckenham Place Road. • No hard road closure in place but attendees should continue on Beckenham to BPP unless Hill Road to park entrance. • Direct event vehicles to main entrance at Southend Lodge. • Allow access to blue lights/with Event Control authorisation. • Monitor for antisocial behaviour in surrounding area Crossing Point after residential Waitrose Entrance STAGE POSITIONS 2021 STAGE POSITIONS Stages 2 - 5 adjusted to a more central angle approx 3 -5 degrees 2022 Stage 1 rotated approx 35/40 degrees to face central NOISE MANAGEMENT • A new Noise Management Plan (NMP) has been produced as part of the event planning process. • A self-imposed low frequency limit of 83 DB has been introduced, site-wide and for the whole event duration. • A reduction of a between 3-5 DB in on-site output at all five stages when required to meet conditions or in reaction to complaints, there are only four stages in operation for Naked City and two for Black Coffee. • A high-pass filter has been introduced at all stages to reduce the affects of noise at the 40 and 50khz range. • Noise monitoring points will number 8 not 5, already in place are Benbury Close, Calverley Close, Beckenham Place Park, Crab Hill and Calmont Rd, in addition will be Ravensbourne Avenue, Downham Way and Brackley Road. • No rear facing monitoring equipment will be used on stages to prevent sound bleed in unwanted directions. • The difference in A weighting and C weighting DB levels will not go above 18db. POINTS AGREED FOR 2022 • Noise – A reduc on of overall output, change indirec on and orienta on of stages, the reduc on of low frequency through a self-imposed limit, a reduc on in on-site audio and an increase in monitoring loca ons. • Toilets – The exterior area will now include hard poly-johns, urinal sta ons and increased stewarding to prevent side streets being used for urina on. • Rubbish – A joint e ort has now been agreed with the council to provide 1100 units of large bins in key areas and similar size bins outside the sta ons areas. • Pedestrian barrier - increased for sta ons and the route to the sta ons especially on park exit. • Security and stewarding – Increased by approximately 15% across all key external areas. • Notices and signs - Erected on-site at an earlier date. • Resident letter - A wider distribution of the resident letter (increased to 20k addresses for this meeting). ti ti ff ti ti ti ti ti ti ti ti ti MONITORING AND ACCOUNTABILITY • Safety Advisory Group (Local Authority, Police, Fire, Medical etc) will scrutinise plans in relation to event safety and delivery. • The Community website and email will continue to be the most efficient method of communications with the local community - https://krankbrotherbppevents.com/ is the URL, all ongoing local community updates including this presentation and minutes and recording from this meeting will be made available there. • [email protected] is the best email address to contact us at Krankbrother Events and that email is monitored by Krankbrother Events Community Liaison. • Future consultation date will be in June 2022, further details on this will be advised.
