Greenwo od Funeral Home Angela Rose Edwards, age 26, passed away Sunday, April 2nd, 20XX. She was a graduate of University of Greenwood with both a Bachelors and Masters degree in Environmental Sciences. Angela was slated to begin a new job within the Council on Environmental Quality (CEQ) later this year with intentions to limit big box business impact on landfills and pollution. Angela was well beloved for her talents in public speaking, botany, and ecological policy. Angela dedicated her short life to protecting the planet of which we all live. Angela spent her free time gardening for pleasure as well as running local community gardens within Greenwood, speaking at environmental rallies and local college and high school assemblies, and spending time with family. She is survived by her mother and father, Catherine and Samuel Edwards, and two younger siblings, Nina and Roger Edwards. Funeral Services will be held at 9:30AM on Sunday, April 9th, 20XX at Greenwood Presbyterian Church with Rev. James Thorne officiating. Burial immediately after in Greenwood Presbyterian Church’s Cemetery. The Edwards Family requests all memorial contributions be donated to Greenpeace, Global Footprint Network, or Greenwood Environmentality in Angela’s name. I changed the one syllable story about wanting to protect the environment to an obituary of a girl who has passed away doing just that. If this was in a book, I would use this as an obituary of a girl who “went mysteriously missing and found dead” after going toe to toe with a big box business polluting the Earth. I had to change a lot about the original text to create this, mostly changing from one syllable words to the freedom of any word I would like. I also had to name the girl and her family, and give her a background outside of loving the Earth. I had to look up different environmentality groups and US Government jobs that relate around the environment. I also had to change the speaker from being the girl, to being a loved one speaking on her behalf.
