Significance of your donat ion to Children in Critical Health Conditions Meaningful, Measurable Benefits RMHC Hong Kong (Ronald McDonald House Charities ® Hong Kong) conducted a survey of parents of sick children currently or previously staying in Ronald McDonald House (RMH)* to explore the difficulties they faced before moving into RMH, and the changes in their lives and emotional states after they moved i n. The survey revealed that RMH’s family - centered care service model, an important extension of hospital care, provides comprehensive support and resources to help sick children and their families cope with difficulties. The survey findings underscore the positive impact RMH has on the lives of its residents with its unique combination of accommodation and support. Besides being the largest ‘home - away - from - home’ facility for families with chronically ill children staying in Hong Kong hospitals, RMH provide s valuable psychological and social support. Positive Change This survey shows that RMH Hong Kong can bring positive impacts to sick children and their families, both physically and emotionally.
