Camera, memory card and extra battery ** Subject to availability, Terms & Conditions *** Terms, Conditions & Rules Sibut Longhouse brief introduction: o It is a private property; o There are 10 local Brunei Iban families living in the longhouse (about 60 people); o The longhouse is located 14 km from Bangar Town and easily accessed by Jalan Batang Duri (main road); o By visiting the longhouse you will encounter the culture, traditions, society, daily lives of our Brunei Iban community; Sibut Longhouse Tour Guide: o Only Longhouse Tour Guide from Lubuk Batu Mas Homestay or Dina Blessing Enterprise is allowed to give an explanation on the Long House, Customs and Lifestyle of the Iban Community. A Third Party Tour Guide is NOT ALLOWED except for the language Dina Blessing Enterprise cannot cater to. Reservations: o Tour request for Nemu-Y ‘W ai can be made and comfirmed 3 hours before arrival; o For other packages, reservation confirmation must be made five days prior to the date of arrival; Payment: o Payment has to be made in CASH; o 50% Deposit is required for booking comfirmation; o Full payment is to be made before arrival; o Payment must be made to: DINA BLESSING ENTERPRISE account as described below; o Additional guests (if any) entering and staying in the guest rooms will be charged; Cancellation : o Last minute reservation cancellation is not encouraged; o No refund for last minute cancellation; Rules (By Law): o Safety of occupants and items is borne by themselves at all times; o Always respect the way of life, beliefs and sensitivities of the local community; o Always wear appropriate clothes. It is not allowed to wear shoes in the House; o Smoking is not allowed in the living room and the entire Sibut longhouse area; o Threatening or damaging property is not allowed at all; o Thieves will be brought before the Police and appropriate action will be taken in accordance with the Laws of Brunei Darussalam; o Any individual found to be in violation or committing a prohibited activity will be liable for damages if it results in any property damage or loss, is brought before the Police and or appropriate action is taken in accordance with the Laws of Brunei Darussalam; S ib u t L o n g h o u s e T a b o o : o Visiting or entering the longhouse without permission can be considered very rude; o Obey and respect the Customs and Taboos of the Iban Community held by the residents of Sibut Longhouse; o Any occupant / resident who is found to have violated the Customs or Prohibitions of the Iban Community of Sibut Longhouse will be tried according to the customs of the Iban Longhouse Sibut people by paying a fine according to the customs set by the Iban Community of Temburong District, Negara Brunei Darussalam; Our Liability: o Kampung Sibut Consultation Council and Lubuk Batu Mas Homestay or Dina Blessing Enterprise has the rights to accept or decline any reservation made with or without any early notice; o Kampung Sibut Consultation Council and Lubuk Batu Mas Homestay or Dina Blessing Enterprise has the rights to amend or cancel date, schedule and travel duration if required by providing a reasonable argument especially involving Iban custom and traditions or any loss of life occurred in the Sibut Longhouse or residents of Kampung Sibut; o Kampung Sibut Consultation Council and Lubuk Batu Mas Homestay or Dina Blessing Enterprise subordinates are not responsible for any loss, damage to property, injury, accident, death or delay of participants before / during / after the visit; o Kampung Sibut Consultation Council and Lubuk Batu Mas Homestay or Dina Blessing Enterprise is not responsible for and to any loss due to delay, loss of items, damage, claim, loss of profit or related to it due to any delay, illness, weather, war, quarantine, natural disasters, or any third party or other matters. ** Updated on : 1st October 2022 **
