Terms and Conditions for The Little Learning Centre’s Party Hire Room Thank you for choosing The Little Learning Centre’s party hire room. Please read these terms carefully to ensure the safety, cleanliness, and enjoyment of all guests. By booking our facilities, you agree to the following terms: General Terms 1. Supervision: A responsible adult (18 years or older) must be present and actively supervising the party at all times, including while using the inflatables. The supervising adult is accountable for the behaviour and safety of all children and guests. 2. Prohibited Items: o Sharp Objects: No sharp objects (e.g., knives, scissors) are allowed on or near any of the equipment or inflatables. o Decorative Items: Items such as face paint, confetti cannons, silly string, and party poppers are not permitted, as these can cause damage and increase cleaning requirements. o Alcohol and drugs 3. Cleaning and Maintenance: The customer is liable for any cleaning or maintenance costs due to misuse, damage, or excessive mess left in the party room or kitchen. A cleaning fee may be charged if the space is not returned to its original condition. 4. No Smoking or Vaping: Smoking and vaping are strictly prohibited anywhere within The Little Learning Centre, including the party hire room and surrounding areas. 5. No Open Flames: For the safety of all guests, no open flames, including candles (other than birthday candles), fireworks, or sparklers, are permitted near the inflatables or within the facility. Birthday candles should be used with caution and only with adult supervision. 6. Pets: Pets are not permitted within The Little Learning Centre, except for registered service animals. Please notify us in advance if a service animal will be present to ensure accommodations are in place. 7. Food and Beverages: o Outside food and non-alcoholic beverages are allowed; however, any spills or messes should be cleaned promptly to maintain a safe environment. o No alcohol is permitted on the premises at any time. 1 8. Noise Levels: Please be mindful of noise levels. Excessive noise that disturbs other users of the facility may result in a warning or termination of the booking. 9. Personal Belongings: The Little Learning Centre is not responsible for any lost or stolen items. Guests are encouraged to keep track of personal belongings and secure valuables. 10. Right to Refuse Service: The Little Learning Centre reserves the right to refuse service or terminate a booking if guests do not adhere to these terms or engage in unsafe or disruptive behaviour. Time Slot Adherence 1. Booking Duration : Customers are entitled to use the party hire room, including the soft play equipment, only for the specific hours they have booked and paid for. Entry to the room will be allowed at the start of the reserved time, and all guests must vacate promptly at the end of the allotted time. 2. Set-Up and Clean-Up : Any set-up and clean-up activities must be completed within the reserved booking period. Additional time will not be provided for these purposes outside of your booked slot. 3. Overstay Fees : If guests remain in the room beyond the booked time, an additional fee may be applied. This fee covers the extended use of the space and may affect subsequent bookings. 4. Timely Arrival and Departure : We encourage guests to arrive on time to make the most of their booking. Departing promptly helps us maintain the schedule for all parties and allows us to prepare the space for the next group. 5. Respect for Other Bookings : As The Little Learning Centre often has back- to-back bookings, respecting your time slot ensures a smooth experience for all customers. Late departures may disrupt the experience for other guests and result in additional charges. Kitchen Use If kitchen facilities are included in your booking, please observe these additional guidelines: 1. Adult Access Only : Only adults are permitted in the kitchen area to ensure the safety of all guests. 2 2. Safety with Appliances : Use caution when operating the oven or any kitchen appliances. Ensure that all equipment is turned off after use. 3. Use of Personal Equipment : If you wish to use personal equipment (e.g., air fryers), please consult with The Little Learning Centre team in advance to ensure safe and approved usage within our facilities. 4. Cleaning : All kitchen areas and equipment used must be thoroughly cleaned and returned to their original condition. 5. Waste Disposal : Dispose of any waste responsibly in designated bins. 6. Food Allergies and Safety : Ensure that all food prepared or brought into the centre is safe for consumption, considering any allergies of your guests. By using the kitchen facilities at The Little Learning Centre, you agree to do so at your own risk. The Little Learning Centre is not liable for any accidents, injuries, or damages arising from the use of kitchen appliances or personal equipment brought onto the premises. Guests are responsible for ensuring that all food prepared or served is safe for consumption, especially considering any dietary needs or allergies among their guests. Additionally, all kitchen equipment and surfaces must be thoroughly cleaned after use to maintain a safe environment for everyone. The Little Learning Centre reserves the right to limit or deny the use of certain equipment if deemed unsafe or unsuitable. Inflatables 1. No one is allowed on the inflatable as it is inflating or deflating. 2. Sitting, climbing, hanging or running into the walls of the inflatables is strictly prohibited. 3. The safety step on all castles is for entering and exiting the castle only. Bouncing on the step is not allowed. 4. The amount of users on the castle must be monitored to avoid overcrowding. Small and large children should not use the inflatable at the same time. 5. No pushing, shoving or fighting on the inflatables. Each person using the inflatable should have enough space to bounce and play safely. 6. All shoes and jewellery has to be removed before using the inflatable. 7. It’s recommended that glasses/spectacles are removed before using the inflatable. 8. No food or drink on the inflatables under any circumstances. 9. The area in which the inflatable is going must be cleared of all rubbish, sharp objects and animal mess. Our staff will check the area and if it is deemed 3 unsafe or unclean, the inflatable will not be set up and the full fee will be charged. 10. Anyone suffering from any medial conditions that could be aggravated by using the inflatable ie. neck or back problems. Should not use the inflatable. 11. The blower must not be turned off while there are people still using the inflatable. 12. If for any reason the inflatable fails, all persons must evacuate immediately. 13. Inflatables are all intended for the use of children. 14. Safety mats will be provided. However, these can move with continued use. If this happens, please return the mats to their original position to avoid injury. Extra care must be taken to ensure that this castle is not stained or discoloured. If any stains or discolourations are found, the customer will be billed for all cleaning costs or replacement panels. All the previous rules apply to this castle and as a reminder there is absolutely no fake tan, face paint, food, silly string or shoes or any other substance which could potentially stain or discolour the castle to come into contact with the white bouncy castle. Balloon Bubble All previous guidelines apply to the Big Bounce Bubble. However, there are additional rules and regulations that must be adhered to. 1. Entering and exiting the bubble house must be done in an orderly manner and one person at a time. When entering the zip on the outside must be opened and once you have entered the tunnel the zip on the outside door must be closed. The zip on the second or inside door can now be opened and the user can enter the bubble area. Once the user has entered the bubble area then the zip must be closed and any additional users can enter using the same method. 2. When entering and exiting the bubble all users must be aware of the frame of the tunnel which must be stepped over upon entering and exiting. This is slightly raised off the ground and all users of the Big Bounce Bubble should ensure that they are physically able to step over this comfortably and are aware of this as we will not accept any liability for injury caused by tripping. It is the customers responsibility to inform all users. 3. The Big Bounce Bubble comes as standard with latex balloons inside. Any persons with a latex allergy should not enter the bubble or touch any of the balloons. 4. Balloons are not edible and are a choking hazard. DO NOT EAT! A responsible adult must supervise the Big Bounce Bubble at all times to enforce this. 4 5. Do not overcrowd the Big Bounce Bubble. All users of this equipment must have enough space to move freely without having to bump into or be hindered by other users. Balloons and Displays Provided by The Little Learning Centre 1. Balloons are to be used for decorative purposes only and should not be tampered with or altered in any way. Do not push, bump into or attempt to move sail boards or display elements as this can cause injury. 2. Balloons are a chocking hazard! DO NOT EAT! Balloons should not be placed in the mouth or nose as this will cause choking. The customer is completely responsible for cleaning up and disposing of all balloons. 3. Balloons are purchased and made in advance. If cancelled without at least one weeks notice the customer will be liable for the full costs of materials. If cancelled with less than 3 days notice the customer will be liable for the full quoted price. 4. Some balloons are made from latex. If suffering from a latex allergy then please do not come into contact with any balloons. The customer is responsible for ensuring that all guests are informed of this. 5. Some balloons are filled with helium gas. Under no circumstances is this to be inhaled or the balloons tampered with. 6. Balloons are not be be released outside. This is an environmental hazard. 7. All balloon displays must be kept free from sharp objects, excessive heat or open flames as this will cause popping. 8. Balloons can pop at any time due to the nature of the materials. Big Bounce Lisburn only uses the highest quality balloon brands recognised by the industry. We can not be held responsible after your balloon display has been set up for repairing or replacing balloons. 9. All debris left by popped balloons must be cleaned up immediately by the customer. Projector Use 1. The projector provided must not be tampered with. If this is damaged in any way the customer will be liable for the full repair or replacement costs. 2. Any devices being used with the projector such as firesticks, PlayStations, etc must be set up correctly and not cause any damage to the projector. 5 3. The customer is responsible for obtaining any licenses required to stream or watch content on the cinema screen. Big Bounce Lisburn is not liable for any copyright infringement. Soft Play Equipment Use Terms 1. Supervision : Children using the soft play equipment must be supervised by a responsible adult (18 years or older) at all times. The supervising adult is responsible for the safety and behaviour of all children in the soft play area. 2. The soft play equipment is specifically designed for children aged 4 and under. Older children should refrain from using the equipment to avoid injuries and ensure a safe environment for younger children. 3. Footwear and Clothing : Children must remove shoes before entering the soft play area and wear socks at all times for hygiene and safety. 4. Avoid loose clothing, accessories (e.g., jewellery), and other items that could pose a choking or injury risk. 5. Prohibited Items : No food, drinks, gum, or treats are allowed within the soft play area to minimise choking hazards and keep the area clean. Sharp objects, personal toys, and other external items are not allowed in the soft play area to protect the equipment and prevent potential injuries. 6. Behaviour and Conduct : Running, rough play, pushing, or climbing on the outside of the soft play equipment is prohibited to ensure a safe experience for all children. The supervising adult should encourage gentle, respectful, and cooperative play within the soft play area. 7. Health and Hygiene : For the well-being of all guests, please ensure children are healthy before using the soft play equipment. Children displaying symptoms of illness (e.g., fever, vomiting, diarrhoea) should not use the equipment. 8. Any accidents, spills, or other issues should be reported to The Little Learning Centre staff promptly for immediate cleaning and sanitisation. 9. Damage and Liability : Any intentional damage to the soft play equipment or surrounding area may incur repair or replacement costs, at the discretion of The Little Learning Centre. 10. The Little Learning Centre is not liable for injuries sustained due to improper use of the equipment or lack of adult supervision. Additional Reminders 6 Emergency Situations : If an emergency arises, please contact a staff member immediately for assistance. Personal Belongings : The Little Learning Centre is not responsible for lost or stolen items. Please keep all personal items outside the soft play area for safety. Disclaimer Please note, any persons or organisations hiring from The Little Learning Centre are responsible/liable for any damages or injuries occurring from or as a result of negligent or reckless use. All persons using the inflatables do so at their own risk. These guidelines are for the safety of all persons using the inflatable and it is the customers responsibility to ensure that they are adhered to. The Little Learning Centre cannot accept responsibility for any damage or injury to anyone using the equipment however caused. Furthermore, if the equipment is dirty or damaged, the customer is liable for the full repair costs or a £50 cleaning fee. By receiving these terms and conditions and not expressing any objections, you acknowledge and agree to abide by them fully. Failure to disagree or request modifications before the start of your booking will be considered acceptance of all terms outlined above.
