A Lodge of Instrnction shall be held under the sanction of the Rivennead Lodge, No. 8278 at the R ,1 ,,!If H. ! e'. Any Master Mason of the Rivermead Lodge, No. 8278 shall be deemed a member of this Lodge of Instruction, upon payment of the usual fee in advance. 3. Any Brother not being a member of the Riverrnead Lodge, No. 8278 may be ad- mitted a member of the Lodge of Instruc- tion. His name must be proposed and seconded at one meeting and balloted for at the next. Two negatives to exclude. Visitors may be admitted on introduction by a mem- ber. 4. Entry Fee to become a member will be 10 pence, each member will pay a mini- mum of 10 pence on attendance. 5. The Officers of the Lodge of Instruc- tion shall consist of President, Vice- Presidents, Preceptor, Secretary and 'treas- urer, and two Stewards who shall be elected at the Installation Rehearsal meeting. 6. A Committee to audit the accounts, shall be elected at the first meeting in December, and the accounts shall be presented to the Lodge of Instruction at the 211d meeting in January. 7. At every Lodge Meeting the Master for the next meeting shall be elected, the other officers going up in rotation subject to By-law To.8. 8. That if any Brother entitled to office shall not attend Lodge to enter on his duties he shall forfeit the appointment and another to be appointed by the Master to serve in his stead. 9. No Brother shall be elected to the office of Master unless he be reasonably acquainted with the method of opening and closing the Lodge in the Degree and of the working of the ceremony intended for the occasion on which he is to preside. 10. At the Meeting previons to the Regular Riverrnead Lodge Meeting, the Officers shall be the Officers of the River- mead Lodge. 11. No extraordinary expense ou t of the Lodge funds exceeding 50 pence shall be incurred unless authorised by resolution of the Lodge, of which notice shall have been given at the previous meeting. 12. A Minute Book shall be kept, in which all business of the Lodge shall be recorded and such minutes of business shall be pre- sented by the Secretary at the next Regular Meeting for confirmation. In the absence of the Secretary the Assistant Secretary will act in his stead. 13. A printed copy of these By-laws shall be presented to every member. 14. These By-laws shall not be altered, unless due notice of such alteration shall have been given in open Lodge at the previous meeting, such alteration on being confirmed, shall form part of the By-laws of the Lodge of Instruction.
