All praise be to Allah, we praise Him, we seek His Help, we ask His forgiveness and seek refuge in Allah from the evil of ourselves and the wickedness of our deeds. Whomsoever Allah guides, none can misguide him, and whomsoever Allah sends astray, none can guide him. And I testify that none is worthy of except Allah, alone, without partners. And I testify that Muhammad is His slave and His messen- ger. To proceed: Allah says: "Draws near for mankind their reckoning, while they turn away in heedlessness" [Al-Anbiya :1] Verily, the most truthful speech is the Book of Allah and the best guidance is the guidance of Muhammad ‫ ﷺ‬and the worst of [religious] matters are the novelties therein, and every novelty is an inno- vation and every innovation is a misguidance and every misguidance is in the fire. It is clear from the above mentioned ayah that the Hour is near and that the time which is left is compared to what has already passed is like a drop of ocean. The prophet ‫ ﷺ‬said: "I and the Last Hour are sent like this" He pointed out his two fingers, opening his fist. [Al-Bukhari 6507, Muslim 7330]. Abu Sa'eed related. "The Prophet ‫ﷺ‬led us in the Asr salah and then delivered a sermon till sunset, touching upon events till the Last Day. Those who could remember, remembered but some forgot. Some of what he said is this: O people! The earth is sweet and green. Allah has placed you here and watches your deeds. Save yourselves from the world and from women... The sun is about to set only so much time remains for the sun to set. [At-Tirmidhi 2191, Ibn Majah 4000] It has been more than 1400 years since the Qur'an was revealed and the Prophet ‫ﷺ‬ has informed us about some of the events that will take place before the Day of Resurrection. The ahadith concerning these events can be found in the books of ahadith where many scholars have gathered these ahadith in different books, the fa- mous of which is of Al-Hafiz Ibn Kathir . ‫رحمه هللا‬ In this article we are going to talk about the Prophecies which have been recently unfolded and the prophecies which are unfolding infront of our eyes as we speak. Hence we have named this book "The Unfolding Prophecies". Muslims certainly believe that whatever the Prophet of Allah has said will happen, will eventually happen. However if we see it with our own eyes and notice it, it increases our Īmaan, reliance upon Allah and helps us to focus on our Akhirah than worldly af- fairs. Our aim is to present these unfolding prophecies in a way, if we read, it will in- crease our Īmaan. Glory is to you, O Allah and praise is to you. I bear witness that there is none worthy of worship but You. And I seek Your forgiveness and repent to You. 2 The Importance of Prophecies:- It is obligatory upon every muslim to believe and be certain that the events which prophet ‫ﷺ‬said would happen, will happen. Everything to the Prophet was revealed from Allah, as the Quran confirms it. "Nor does he speak of desires. It is only only a revelation revealed. [An-Najm : 3-4]. The Messenger ‫ﷺ‬told the sahabah who would write whatever they would hear from him. "Write! By Him in whose Hand is my soul, every word that comes out of me is truth." [Ahmad 21162, Abu Dawud 4:60]. Therefore, without shadow of doubt the events which were fore- told by the Prophet will happen unless it has already happened. May Allah have mercy on the scholars of hadith who preserved the ahadith for us. In these ahadith, there are some ahadith which fortell the future events, the events which will happen before the Day of Qiyamah. Some of these events are known as the signs of Qiyamah which are further divided into major signs and minor signs. Some of these events will take place before the descending of Īsa bin Maryam and some after. In this article we are going to talk about the events which have recently been unfolded and the events towards which steps have been taken and if Allah willing will be untolded very soon. What is the wisdom behind the Prophet ‫ﷺ‬informing the sahabah about these events? There are three reasons behind the Prophet informing the sahabah about these coming events: First reason is that these events testify to the fact that the Prophet was sent by Allah as a Messenger and everything was revealed to him from Allah. The man who was an illiterate and lived more than 1400 years ago informed us about future events which some of those took place in the past to this present is a strong proof for itself that he was a Prophet and a Messenger from Allah. Similarly, the Quran was revealed in the 7th century and it contains some scientific facts which no one could prove back then but today science confirms these facts which are mentioned in the Quran. Hence, Allah invites us to ponder over the Quran, to think about the signs which have been mentioned in the Quran. If one cannot think of any sources then it must mean it was certainly revealed by the All-Knower. For this reason the Prophet ‫ ﷺ‬called the Quran a miracle. If a person with scientific knowledge were to read the Quran he would certainly feel that it has been updated in the twenty first century. The Prophet ‫ﷺ‬said " There was no Prophet among the Prophets but was given a miracle because of which people had belief, but I have been given the Divine Revelation, which Allah has revealed to me. So I hope my followers will be more than those of any Prophet on the Day of Resurrection. [Al- Bukhari] The Qur'an itself testify to its truthfulness and similarly the prophecies when unfolded testify to the truthfulness of the Prophet ‫ ﷺ‬and the Qur'an. The second reason as to why did the prophet ‫ﷺ‬informed us about the future events, is similar to the one mentioned previously. It confirms the truthfulness of Islam and this increases the believers' Iman upon witnessing the prophecies being unfolded. 3 The third reason behind the Prophet ‫ ﷺ‬informing us about the future events (I.e the minor signs of the Day of Judgment) is that these events are the steps towards those events (I.e the major signs of the Day of Judgment) if witnessed, belief in Allah will not benefit anyone if they hadn't believed before. Allah says " The Day that some of the signs of your Lord will come no soul will benefit from its faith as long as it had not believed before or had earned through its faith some good. Say: Wait! Indeed, we [too] are waiting." [Al-Qur'an 6:158] - These prophecies serve as a warning to both the Muslims and the non Muslims. We will now shed some light on the signs, if witnessed, believing in Allah will not benefit those who had not believed before, and the Muslims who did not benefit from their iman (I.e who failed to do good deeds), will not benefit(I.e their repent- ance for their sins will not be accepted). " Then has there not been a [single] city that believed so its faith benefited it except the people of Yunus? When they be- lieved, We removed from them the punishment of disgrace in worldly life and gave them enjoyment for a time." [Al-Qur'an 10:98] When a promised punishment reaches a nation then believing in Allah and His Messenger will not benefit a who did not believe before. When the punishment of Allah reached Firawn, he believed but his belief did not avail him. " I believe that there is no deity except that in whom the children of Israel believe, and I am of the Muslims." [Al-Qur'an 10:90] The same was the case with all the other nations ex- cept the people of Yunus ‫ عليه السالم‬The Prophet ‫ ﷺ‬is the last Prophet and Messenger and his ummah is the last ummah, for that reason Allah has not prom- ised this ummah (the people in general) any specific punishment if they did not be- lieve. However, if they happen to witness one of the following signs, it is then same as witnessing Allah's punishment, believing in Allah will not benefit them: (i) Death (ii) The smoke (iii) The Beast (iv) Ad-Dajjal (v) The rise of the sun from its setting place. " And of no effect is the repentance of those who continue to do evil deeds until faces one of them and he says:" Now I repent." Nor of those who due while they are disbelievers. For them We have prepared a painful torment." [Al-Qur'an 4:18] When death reaches a person, believing in Allah will not benefit a soul, if he had not believed before. This is because the time of respite has expired and the person is witnessing the promise of Allah with his own eyes. He sees with his eyes that his last day in this world is coming to an end and his first day in the next life begins. Nothing will deliver him from agony of death even though he will start thinking about his children, his wealth, the power and authority he had, but he will reach on- ly one conclusion " And he (I.e the dying one) is certain that is it the [time of] sepa- ration." [Al-Qur'an 75:28] The hardest (I.e heaviest) ayah I find in the Qur'an is the following "And one shank will joined with another shank." [75:29] Ibn Abbas ‫رضى هللا عنه‬said regarding this ayah "This is the last day of the days of this world and the first day of the days of the Hereafter. So there will be hardships that will meet (More) hardships, except for whom Allah has mercy upon."[At-Tabari 24:78] 4 If the dying person is a disbeliever he would be certain that the hardships will only increase for him. The hardships which Allah has mentioned in few places in the Qur'an will be joined with more hardships (I.e the punishment after death). Allah says " And if you could but see when the Zalimun are in the agonies of death, while the angels are stretching for their hands (saying) " Deliver your souls! This day you shall be recompensed with the torment of degradation because of what you used to utter against Allah other than the truth." [Al-Qur'an 6:93] From this and many other similar ayat it is clear that the disbelievers suffer extreme hardships at the time of death, and if they believe at that time which they do, is not out of free will. There- fore Allah does not accept their belief and repentance. Regarding the smoke which is a major sign of the Day of Qiyamah Allah says " Then wait you for the Day when the sky will bring forth a visible smoke."[ 44:10] The verses that follow this verse suggest that after witnessing the smoke, believing in Allah will not benefit a soul if it had not believed before. The Messenger of al- lah ‫ﷺ‬said " The hour will not come until you see ten signs. The rising of the sun from the west; the smoke; the beast..." [Muslim 4:2225] Concerning the beast Al- lah says "And when the word is fulfilled against them, We shall bring out from the earth a beast for them, to speak to them because mankind believed not with certain- ity in Our ayat." [27:82] From this verse and the verses concerning the smoke, it is apparent that believing in Allah will not benefit a disbeliever. However, the schol- ars hold the opinion that the repentance of a person is as long as he remained alive before the sun rises from its setting place. They base their opinion on a narration from Al-Bukhari and Muslim in which the Prophet said " The last Hour will not come till the sun rises from the place of its setting. When it rises and the people see it, they will believe- all of them. But that will be when " The believing of a person shall be of no use to him who had never believed before, or had earned some good through his faith." [6:158] In this verse Allah talks about signs not a sign. There- fore, the logical explanation would be that the smoke and the beast will come after the sun rises from its setting place. The Prophet ‫ ﷺ‬said " The first of the signs to appear will be the rising of the sun from the west and the emergence of the beast to mankind in the afternoon. Whichever of them appears first, other will follow close behind it." Muslim - The Prophet ‫ﷺ‬said " When the following three signs appear, no good will it do to a person to believe then if he believed not before: (i) Rising of the sun from the west (ii) Ad-Dajjal (iii) Dabbat ul Ard ( a beast from the earth)." [Muslim] From the above mentioned verses and narrations we also learn that the rise of the sun, the smoke and the beast will take place after the decending of Isa Bin Maryam , ‫عليه السالم‬because at the time of Isa, believing in Allah will benefit a person if he had never believed before. Allah says "And there is none of the people of the scrip- ture, but must believe in his (Isa), before his death."[4:159] There are many authen- tic ahadith which prove that Isa will call the people to Islam and therefore, the be- lieving of a person in Allah will benefit him. 5 Why did I choose to write this article ? “O Prophet, urge the believers to battle. If there are among you twenty [who are] steadfast, they will overcome two hundred. And if there are among you one hundred [who are] steadfast, they will overcome a thousand of those who have disbelieved because they are a people who do not understand.” {Al- Qur’an [8:65]} What we see and hear has the same effect on our soul as the food we eat has on our physical health. If what we see is haram, what we hear is haram, what we are sur- rounded by is haram then it will badly affect the state of our Iman. In a famous had- ith it says " The similitude of a good companion and an evil companion is like that of a person carrying musk [a perfume] and one who blows the bellows [I.e black- smith]. The person with the musk will either give you some, you may purchase it from him, or you will at least inhale a good fragrance from him. As for the one who blows bellows, he will either burn your clothes, or you will inhale a foul smell from him." Agreed Upon We no longer find peace we meant to find in the remembrance of Allah. We no longer feel the brotherhood that once existed among the believers. We no longer have appetite for the shariah. By Allah! Even the best of the believers of today are struggling to keep their Iman firm. We are surrounded by evil from all sides. There- fore, the prophecies which has started to unfold may increase our Iman if we learn about them, because these are the steps towards the descending of Isa Bin Maryam. There was a gap of more than 600 years between the Prophet Isa and the last Prophet. During that time the condition of the deteriorated to the extent that they started to bury their daughters alive. Allah then sent His last Prophet and Messen- ger ‫ ﷺ‬to bring out people from the darkness they were in. Today we also live in an age of Jahiliyyah and the state of the ummah is such that the Qur'an has been caged; restrictions are placed on the Qur'an. The important command of forbidding evil is considered as major crime. Jihad is considered crime against humanity. Many people have apostatised unaware of their apostasy. It seems like it will not be long that Allah will send down His servant Isa Bin Maryam to remove the re- strictions placed on the Qur'an and bring out the ummah from an age of Jahiliyyah. These unfolding prophecies are a hope and it will keep us going as it encourages us to continue the struggle of delivering the ummah from an ag of ignorance. It (I.e the prophecies) is a promise of the return of Allah's authority on the earth. May Allah increase our Iman and may Allah establish the Shari'ah for us, which will nourish our Iman. 6 Prophecy One : Knowledge will be wiped out through death of rightly guid- ed scholars. " O you who believe! Verily, there are many of the (Jewish) rabbis and the (Christians) monks who devour the wealth of mankind in falsehood, and hin- der (them) from the way of Allah." [Surah At-Tawbah 9:34] This ummah certainly has seen a time when the scholars of Islam were the fuel of Jihad and played a big role in the defeat of various enemies at different times. May Allah raise their ranks. It was the stability and the unity of this ummah that pro- duced such scholars. As long as there was a system in place and the Qur'an was made the constitution, the ummah kept producing amazing scholars. The down fall of this ummah led to the unfolding of many prophecies, including the decrease of knowledge through the death of the guided scholars. The Prophet ‫ ﷺ‬said " The signs (of the Hour) are like beads arranged in a threat. When the thread snaps they follow one after the other." [Musnad Ahmad 2:219] When the ummah as whole turned away from the teachings of the Qur'an, Allah took the honour from us and we were left with no united leadership and thus became prone to the enemies ex- ploitation. The Prophet ‫ﷺ‬said " Allah elevates some people through this Book and debases through it others." Muslim - Some Muslim lands fell into the hands of the disbelievers and other were turned into nationalist, democratic, and secular states. This prophecy was certainly expected to unfold. The scholars who remained loyal to Allah and His Messenger and called for restoring Allah's authority on the earth were either killed or imprisoned. The scholars who played with the teachings of Islam to justify all that pleased the so called leaders were given the platform to spread corrupt Islam and the real scholars were made silent. Abdullah Ibn Masu'd ‫رضى هللا عنه‬said " At the doors of the rulers lie tribulations just as certainly as there are camels at the place of camels rest. I swear by the Being who controls my life that as much as their wealth you receive, so much of your Deen will they have in exchange. Ibn Abdul Birr in his Jaami (v1 p167). Now in the light of Ibn Masu'd's saying what do we expect from the Murtadeen, nationalist, democratic, secularist and Western sponsored scholars? Do we expect from them to guide the youth of this ummah to the Qur'an and the sunnah? The misguided cannot guide anyone to the right path; in fact they are one of the main reasons behind the sufferings of the ummah. No doubt, there are guided scholars, but their voices have been weakened, and wherever they speak up, they are put behind the bars or killed. For the past hundred years many famous guided scholars remained loyal to Allah and His Mes- senger, but what happened to them? They were killed by either these so called Mus- lim governments or by West. By Allah! In these so called Muslim countries there is not a single religious school that teaches Islam as it should be taught. All they teach the youth of this ummah is the contaminated Islam. This is something that was foretold by the Prophet " ‫ﷺ‬Allah will not take away knowledge just like that, all 7 of a sudden and remove it from people, but he will take away knowledge through the death of the scholars , till there is no scholar left. People, will make the igno- rants their leaders who will issue verdict without knowledge. So they will go astray and will lead people astray." [Al-Bukhari 6737] Nothing can explain this hadith better than the current situation in Ash-Sham. These corrupt scholars hid knowledge when it was most needed for Muslims to know the truth. They misguid- ed the people when it was necessary for Muslims to join the cause of Allah. The handful of scholars who did try to support the cause of Allah were eventually mar- tyred. We saw it with our own eyes how the influential voices of the scholars made silent. There is not a single story or an example mentioned or an event foretold in the Qur'an and the sunnah for the sake of entertainment. Such things are mentioned for us to learn a lesson and protect ourselves from misguidance. Anyone who follows the corrupt form of Islam and misguides others is no doubt harmful to Islam and its people. What can be a greater loss than to end up in Jahannam. Allah says " Say: The losers are those who will lose themselves and their families on the Day of Res- urrection. Verily that will be a manifest loss!" [Al-Qur'an 39:15] The Jews were doomed because of their scholars. The Christians went astray because of their scholars. The Muslim ummah is suffering and have distanced itself from the Qur'an and the sunnah because of the Tawaghit sponsored corrupt scholars. Their speeches are sweet and eloquent, but if you examine their words in light of the Qur'an and the sunnah, you would find them contrary to the truth. Without a shadow of a doubt most of the scholars of this ummah of the twentieth and the twenty first century have started to follow the footsteps of the Jewish Rabbis and the Christian monks. Allah says "Have you not seen those (The Jews) who were given a portion of the Book, purchasing the wrong path and wish that you go astray from the right path?" [Al-Qur'an 4:44] It is not hidden from anyone's eyes that these corrupt scholars are busy day and night justifying democracy, nationalism and westerniza- tion (which includes: democracy, freedom of speech, religious tolerance, so called human rights and being a part of UN). There are also those State's sponsored schol- ars who invite the youth of this ummah to the obedience of Tawaghit (I.e so called Muslim leaders), when they should be commanding the youth of this ummah to re- ject the Tawaghit. The Tawaghit know that the scholars have a powerful voice, a voice that is obeyed, they know that if this voice was to be on their side, it could well protect them from any harm posed by the Mujahideen. The relationship be- tween these scholars and the Tawaghit is nothing but what is outlined in the state- ment of Ibn Masu'd. Allah has warned us regarding such scholars and we must be aware of them as they are wolves in the form of sheep. " O you who believe! Verily, there are many of the (Jewish) rabbis and the (Christian) monks who devour the wealth of mankind in falsehood and hinder (them) from the way of Allah." [Al-Qur'an 9:34] Ibn Masu'd said " When you hear what Allah said in the Qur'an such as ' O you who believe!' then listen with full at- tention, for either it contains a type of righteousness that Allah is enjoining or an 8 evil that He is forbidding." Tafsir Ibn Kathir - May Allah have mercy on Al-Hafiz Ibn Kathir ‫ رحمه هللا‬in the commentar of the above mentioned ayah, he quotes the following hadith indicating that the Muslim scholars will follow the footsteps of the Jewish and Christian scholars. " You will follow the ways of those were before (I.e the Jews and the Christians) step by step." [Ash-Sharia'h p18] We also learn from this that Muslims will obey the corrupt scholars same as the Jews and the Chris- tians obeyed theirs. Now if we remind ourselves of the saying of Ibn Masu'd "...or an evil that He is forbidding." The evil that Allah is forbidding in the previously mentioned ayah (9:34) is obeying the corrupt scholars. A nation is destroyed because of three things: Corrupt scholars, corrupt religious people and the corrupt rich. We see it with our own eyes that nothing contributed more to the downfall of the ummah than the corrupt scholars who failed to high- light the importance of restoring Allah's authority, the importance of Jihad and the importance of purifying the Muslim lands from nationalism and democracy. The second factor contributed in the downfall of the ummah was the corrupt reli- gious Muslims who encouraged masses to obey the so called scholars and leaders in disobedience to Allah and His Messenger. Lastly the third biggest factor was the corrupt wealthy people, who ceased spending in the cause of Allah(I.e supporting the Mujahideen and their cause) and on the poor of this ummah. Morever in this ayah " O you who believe! Indeed there many of ..." (9:34) Allah highlighted the three reasons (i) corrupt scholars (ii) corrupt religious people (iii) corrupt rich people for the destructions of those who were before us, and the Mus- lims if we were to follow their footsteps. In conclusion, we live in a time when major harm is expected from the people (I.e the corrupt scholars) who meant to be the best amongst us. We must be aware of the danger (misguidance) these Western sponsored, Tawaghit sponsored, and celebrity scholars. We may not have many guided scholars alive, but we do have the work (I.e books) of the greatest scholars, who called to Allah and His Messenger and the way of the Sahaba. For a Muslim there is no greater harm than misguidance. Hence we must be aware of these scholars. The Prophet ‫ ﷺ‬said " Some people will lead others to ways other than my guidance. You will recognise something to approve and something to reject." Agreed Upon 9 Prophecy Two – The Slave Gives Birth To Her Master " And those who guard their chastity (I.e private parts from illegal sexual acts). Except from their wives or the (slave women) whom their right hands possess. For (then) they are not blame worthy." [70:29-30] Slavery had existed for a long time; it can be authentically traced back to the time of Ibrahim ,‫ عليه السالم‬when Sarah was given a slave girl Hajar by a king, the story is narrated by Imam Al-Bukhari ‫ رحمه الله‬. It was practiced by the prophets and the Messengers including both, Ibrahim ‫ عليه السالم‬and the last Prophet and Messenger of Allah . ‫ ﷺ‬How it begun, Allah knows best, but from the Qur'an it appears that the reason behind taking someone as a slave were different at different times. For example Allah says in the Qur'an " They (I.e Yusuf's brothers) said " His penalty should be that he, in whose bag it is found, should be held for the punishment (as slaves). Thus we punish the Zalimun." 12:75 "...Thus did We plan for Yusuf. He could not take his brother by the law of the king (as slave)", except that Allah willed it (so, Allah made the brothers to bind themselves with their way of punish- ment - enslaving of a thief.)" 12:76 From these two ayat the Mufassireen conclude that the legal punishment for a thief in the sharia'h of Ibrahim was to be taken as a slave. Some are of the opinion that in the sharia'h of Ibrahim a thief was to be taken as a slave for one year. However, in the sharia'h of Mohammad a person can only be taken as a slave when the message of Islam reaches him, but if he rejects it, then he is overpowered. The people of the Book and Majoos can get away with slavery by paying Jizyah. Allah says " So when you meet (in fight) those who disbelieve, smite (their) necks till when you have killed and wounded many of them, then bind a bond firmly (take them as captives)...until the war lays down its burden." 47:4 "until the war lays down its burden" Mujahid said " Until Isa Bin Maryam descends." [At-Tabari] From the authentic ahadith and the comment of Mujahid it is apparent that slavery is permissible until the Isa Bin Maryam descends, when the disbelievers will have the only option of accepting Islam. The highest status a human can get is to become the slave of Allah. It is indeed an honour to be called the slave and the servant of Allah. None amongst the men and Jinn can reach the status of the Prophet Muhammad ‫ ﷺ‬.There are three things in particular that show the great status of the Prophet: (i) Allah has promised him Maqam Mahmood (ii) No Prophet will enter paradise until the Prophet enters it (iii) Allah takes an oath on the life of the Prophet " Verily, by your life, in their wild in- toxication, they were wandering blindly." (15:72) Ibn Abbas ‫ رضى هللا عنه‬said " Allah has never created or made or formed any soul that is dear to Him than Mo- hammad . ‫ﷺ‬I never heard that Allah swore by the life of anyone else." [At-Tabari 17:118] This is the status of the Prophet ‫ﷺ‬and Allah addresses him as a slave/ servant in the following two ayat: " Glorified is He who took His slave for a jour- ney by night from Al-Masjid Al-Haram to Al-Masjid Al-Aqsa" (17:1) " All praise 10 be to Allah, who has send down to His slave the Book, and has placed therein any crookedness." (18:1) When a person refuses to be the slave of Allah then Allah makes him the slave of His slaves and this is one of the reasons Islam did not abol- ish the slavery. Allah has left the lives and the wealth of the disbelievers unprotect- ed for Muslims to possess in the right manner. The Prophet ‫ ﷺ‬said "I have ordered to fight against the people till they testify that There is no God but Allah and that Mohammad is the Messenger of Allah; and perform As-salat and give za- kat, so if they perform all that, then they save their lives and properties from me ex- cept for Islamic laws and their reckoning will be with Allah." Al-Bukhari - It is the fear for their lives and wealth that the kuffar behave so Allah didn't abolish slavery as it provides protection to Muslims. Slavery was very widespread at the time the Qur'an was being revealed that no one could imagine that slavery would come to an end. This was specially unbelievable for the early Muslims that one Day Muslims would abandon Jihad and would be so influenced by the disbelievers that there would be no slaves left. Al-Hafiz Ibn Kathir ‫ رحمه هللا‬writes in Al-Bidaya Wa An-Nihaya " As for the Prophet's words "the slave gives birth to her master", it means that in the last era the female slaves will enjoy a high position and will be held in esteem." This shows that even in the time of Ibn Kathir, the Muslims could not even imagine slavery being abandoned. Sadly this happened after the fall of the Ottoman Empire. The ummah fell into chaos and democracy and securalism was brought to Muslim lands. This created a perfect op- portunity for all the slaves, men and women to get their unlawful freedom (I.e free- dom without the permission of their masters). The children of the slave women gradually got official positions and became leaders. Thus the prophecy of slave women giving birth to her master was unfolded. One day Jibril visited the Proph- et ‫ﷺ‬and asked him about when the Hour will be. The Prophet ‫ﷺ‬replied " The answerer has no better knowledge than the questionner. But I will inform you about its portents: (i) When a slave (lady) gives birth to her master (ii) When the shepherd of black camels start boosting and competing with others in the construction of higher buildings. [Al-Bukhari] 11 Prophecy Three – The Shepherds Of Black Camels Constructing High Buildings. " And do you get for yourselves palaces as if you will live therein forever." [Al -Qur'an 26:129] Many prophecies have been unfolded as a result of the chaos the ummah is current- ly experiencing. Ummah is not united under one leadership, the affairs of the um- mah are not checked in the light of the Qur'an and the sunnah. Nationalism has cre- ated a sense of individuality in the ummah which has resulted in unbelievable level of inequality. The wealth inside the so called borders is spent uselessly spent inside those borders. Despite the fact that Muslims in other parts of the world are suffer- ing from extreme poverty. Without a shadow of a doubt there are Muslims today who do not always have access to clean water. On the other hands the Arabs are spending ridiculous amounts of money on building useless skyscrappers, as if they are going to live therein forever. When it comes to this habit of theirs, they are not any different than the people of Ad. Prophet Hūd ‫عليه السالم‬told them" And do you get for yourselves palaces as if you will live therein forever." [26:129] No Arab at the time of the Prophet ‫ﷺ‬could imagine the Burj Khalifah or the clock tower in Makkah, but the truthful (the Prophet) has spoken the truth when he said " When the shepherds of black camels start boosting and competing with others in the construction of higher buildings." Al-Bukhari What do we learn from the two prophecies mentioned in this hadith? In this hadith the Prophet ‫ ﷺ‬informed Jibril ‫ عليه السالم‬about the two signs of the Day of the Qiyamah. The scholars have agreed that these two signs of the Hour are the minor signs. The Prophet ‫ﷺ‬said " The hour will not come until you see ten signs: The rising of the sun from the West; the smoke; the beast; the emergence of Yajuj and Majuj ; the appearance of Isa Bin Maryam; the Dajjal; three cases of earth collaps- ing- one in the east, one in the West, and one in the Arabian Peninsula; and a fire which will emerge from the bottom of Aden and will drive the people or gather the people - stopping with them when they stop to sleep at night or rest during the day." Muslim We have already explained that some of these signs will definitely happen after the descending of Isa Bin Maryam. The minor signs of the Day of Judgment will take place before the descending of Isa. These two signs (salve giving birth to her mas- ter and the competition for building skyscrapers) are significant because the person who asked about the Hour was Jibril, surely the Prophet told him two important signs. The importance could be the descending of Isa Bin Maryam is soon after these two prophecies. If that is the case then how lucky are the ones who are a part of the struggle to restore Allah's authority on the earth? How lucky are the believers whom are already in Ash-Sham for the same mission? The struggle will soon be joined and led by the son of Maryam ‫عليه السالم‬. This should increase us in Iman and encourage us to strive utmost in the path of Allah with our wealth and lives. 12 This should encourage us to play our part in restoring Allah's authority on the earth. May Allah grant us victory. Ameen Prophecy Four – Much Ignorance In Religious Matters " And do not pursue (I.e do not assume and do not say) that of which you have no knowledge. Indeed, the hearing, the sight and the heart - about all those [one] will be questioned." [Al-Qur'an 17:36] Ignorance is the result of two things: (i) Absence of the truth (ii) people prioritising which are contrary to the truth, which gradually takes them away from the truth and make them ignorants. In previous nations when a Prophet would pass away, Allah would send another Prophet to bring or keep people on the right path because they will always (constantly) prefer matters that are contrary to the truth. " But is it [not] that every time a messenger came to you [O children of Israel] with what your souls did not desire, you were arrogant? And a party [of Messengers] you denied and another party you killed." [Al-Qur'an 2:87] Many examples of the constant disobedience (preferring things contrary to the truth) of the children of Israel are found in the Qur'an. This eventually resulted in the spreading of ignorance. There was not a Prophet sent after Isa until the last Prophet and Messenger ‫ ﷺ‬During that gap of more than six hundred years the scriptures were changed and hardly an- yone remained upon the true religion of their prophet. The Christians thought they were truly following Isa Bin Maryam and that they were upon the faith of Ibra- him . ‫عليه السالم‬Similar claims were made by the Jews and the Mushrikeen of Makkah also believed to be on the religion of Ibrahim. If anyone wanted to follow the religion, had to return to Fitrah and worship Allah and reject all the so called religion (the corrupt versions of true religion) that were available. Inn Umar ‫رضى‬ ‫هللا عنه‬narrates that Zaid Bin Amr Bin Nufail went to Sham, inquiring about a true religion to follow. He met a Jewish religious scholar and asked him about their reli- gion, to follow. He said " I intend to embrace your religion. So tell me something about it." The Jew said " You will not embrace our religion unless you receive your share of Allah's wrath." Zaid said " I do not rub except from Allah's anger, and I will never bear a bit of it if I have the power to avoid it. Can you tell me of some other religion?" He said " I do not know any other religion except Hanif." Zaid in- quired " What is Hanif?" He said " Hanif is the religion of Ibrahim , ‫ عليه السالم‬he was neither a Jew nor a Christian, and he used to worship none but Allah - Islamic Monotheism." Then Zaid went out and met a Christian religious scholar and told him the same. The Christian said " You will not embrace our religion unless you get a share of Allah's curse." Zaid replied " I do not rub except from Allah's curse and His anger if I have the power to avoid them. Will you tell me of some other reli- gion?" He replied " I do not know any other religion except Hanif." Zaid inquired " What is Hanif?" He replied " Hanif is the religion of Ibrahim, he was neither a Jew 13 nor a Christian and used to worship none but Allah - Islamic Monotheism." When Zaid heard their statement about Ibrahim, he left that place and when he came out, he raised both his hands and said " O Allah! I make you my witness that I am on the religion of Ibrahim." Asma bint Abu Bakr ‫ رضى هللا عنه‬said that I saw Zaid bin Amr bin Nufail standing with his back against the Kabah and saying " O people of Quraysh! By Allah! None amongst you is on the religion of Ibrahim except me." Al -Bukhari However, this ummah is blessed with three favours concerning guidance. (i) Allah has promised the protection of the truth (I.e the Qur'an and the sunnah). By Allah! It has been more than fourteen hundred years since the Qur'an was revealed, but not a single word of the Qur'an has been changed. " Verily, We, it is we who have sent down the Dhikr (I.e the Qur'an) and surely We will guard it (from corruption)" [Al- Qur'an 15:9] (ii) The sunnah is also preserved; throughout the history Allah sent amazing schol- ars to ensure that the sunnah is preserved and not contaminated and this will contin- ue for as long as Allah wills. The Prophet ‫ ﷺ‬said " Surely, Allah will raise in this ummah after every hundred years a person who will work to revive this reli- gion." [Abu Dawud] - The above mentioned ayah and this hadith talks about the protection of the truth (I.e the Qur'an and the sunnah) in the form of books. The mercy of Allah for this ummah does not end here, Allah always put this truth into practice so the people can see it and be reminded. The disbelievers were certain that the Muslim will never establish sharia'h and restore Khilafah even for a single day. They were certain there will be no sharia'h free of contamination (I.e free of nation- alism, democracy etc) but they were wrong. The believers in Ash-Sham and Iraq revived the religion of Islam practically to the extent that they managed to bring back slavery even if it was for a short time. They sent a message to every Muslim and reminded them of the only way they should be living according to. The Proph- et ‫ ﷺ‬said " There will be a group In my ummah that will keep the truth alive. Those who try to thwart them will not harm them in the least (I.e will never be able to stop them) nor will their opponents succeed till the Last Hour." [Al-Bukhari] - Despite these three forms of protection, we see that the ignorance in religious matters is spreading fast across the Muslim lands. Many factors may be the cause but the big- gest factor is the wide spread Western influence and the absence of the sharia'h un- der united leadership. Schools, colleges and universities are not monitored by those who has the knowledge of the sharia'h of Allah. Muslim children are educated by the Murtadeen, nationalist and Western sponsored schools; their heads are filled with informations that is absolutely contrary to the Qur'an and the sunnah, from the early age. The parents are more concerned regarding children's worldly education than religious upbringing. We see that our children have already adopted Western mentality to the extent that they can dare to express their opinion before making sure it is within the limits of the sharia'h. Nothing encourages their behaviour of ex- pressing opinion than the use of social media. Social media such as Facebook and 14 Twitter have provided them a perfect platform to practice their so called right of freedom of speech. There was a time when Muslims would appreciate and value the scholars; when they would make sure what they say is not contrary to the Qur'an and the sunnah. The presence of the sharia'h of Allah under united leadership and the presence of guided scholars made sure the Muslim youth developed an Islamic mentality. To- day the absence of previously mentioned things led to the youth of this ummah to develop Western mentality. Hence they became ignorants of the Qur'an and the sun- nah. The Prophet ‫ ﷺ‬said "From among the portents of the Hour are the following... general ignorance (in religious matters) will increase..." [Al-Bukhari] - The situa- tion in Ash-Sham and Iraq proved that the general ignorance in religious matters is wide spread amongst the Muslims. The believers were condemned just because they acted in accordance with the Qur'an and the sunnah ( in the matter of slavery). Isn't that ignorance? 15 Prophecy Five – Division Through Fitnah “Indeed those who have divided their religion and became sects – You [O Mu- hammad], are not [associated] with them in anything. Their affair is only [left] to Allah; then he will inform them about what they used to do.” (6:159) Unity is what builds a nation. If the unity is upon Falsehood it may still benefit a nation in this world, but it will certainly be a cause of their destruction in the Here- after. Islam does not only command unity but unity upon truth in order to ensure the people’s success in this life and the hereafter. It also warns against division (i.e. what is contrary to unity upon the Quran and the Sunnah) as it leads to misguidance and it is a cause of bloodshed and without a shadow of a doubt a cause of entering the Hellfire. The Quran warns the Muslims about both types of division: Being di- vided politically and being divided religiously. One division leads to another divi- sion and one is more harmful than the other. The downfall of Muslim nation led to the Muslim ummah being politically divided. This division further resulted in religious division as the democratic, secular and nationalist so-called Muslim governments implemented kufri systems which al- lowed misguidance to flourish. Without any doubt the political division (i.e. prefer- ring bunch of nationalists states over the Islamic State and preferring democracy over shariah) lead to religious division (i.e. Muslims went astray from the teachings of the Quran and the Sunnah). Even though the Quran warns us regarding both types of division, but it is the religious division that was foretold by the prophet ‫ﷺ‬ as we shall explain now. Allah warns us against falling into sects when he says “Indeed those who divided their religion and became sects –you [O Muhammad], are not [associated] with them in anything. Their affair is only [left] to Allah, then he will inform them about what they used to do.” (6:159) It is said that the Prophet ‫ﷺ‬recited this verse and said “These people are those who invent new things (Bidah) in religion and the followers of the vain desires of this Muslim nation and their repentance will not be accepted by Allah”. Tafsir Al Qurtubi – Hence from the comment of the Prophet ‫ﷺ‬it is apparent that the Prophecy being unfolded is the religious division amongst the Muslims. The Prophet ‫ﷺ‬said: “ The jews and the Christians will be divided into seventy-three (religious) sects – all in Hell except one and that one is on which I and my companions are today (i.e. following the Quran and the Sunnah and its understanding of the Sahaba)”. [At Tirmidhi , Ibn Majah , Abu Dawud] As we have already mentioned that one type of division is more harmful than the other and both are contrary to the Quran and the Sunnah. In the following ayah Al- lah warns us regarding the political division. “ And those who disbelieve are allies of one another (and) if you (Muslims of the whole world collectively) do not so there will be fitnah (wars, battles, polytheism) on the earth and great corrup- tion.” (8:73) – In this ayah Allah makes it clear that if Muslims of the whole world collectively do not become allies, as one united block under one Khalifah/Ameer 16 then there will be wars, disbelief, shirk and great mischief. And Today due to Mus- lims having so many leaders with so many flags of Jahilyyah, there is fitnah (i.e. Muslims are killing Muslims, people are going out of Islam in crowds, shirk and bidah are widespread and mischief (Muslims have indulged in Zina, alcohol and all sort of other evil things). It has been mentioned in Tafsir At Tabari that the best interpretation of the above mentioned ayah - “ That if you do not do what we (Allah) have ordered you to do [i.e. All of you do not become allies as one united block to make Allah’s religion victorious] there will be fitnah.” And it is fitnah to have many Khalifahs (rulers) as it has been mentioned in Sahih Muslim by areejah who said “I have heard Allah’s messenger ‫ﷺ‬saying “ When you all (Muslims) are united (as one block) under a single Khalifah and a man comes up to disintegrate you and separate you into different groups then kill that man.” Muslim – He ‫ﷺ‬also said, "if the Muslim world gave the bai'h (pledge) to two khalifahs, the first one who was given the bai'h will remain as khalifah then kill the later one(second one).” No one can deny that both types of division were a result of Muslims seeking guid- ance and success in things other than the Qur'an and the sunnah. Without a shadow of a doubt the reason behind ummah ending up in such a humiliated state is that the ummah as whole turned away from the teachings of the glorious Qur'an. The Prophet ‫ﷺ‬said " Allah elevates some people through this Book and debases through it others." Muslim - However what enabled and fuelled the division was the Western influence in Muslim lands. The Western governments armed and aided those amongst the ummah who sought their way of life and also directly declared war on the believers who have been striving to restore Allah's authority on the earth. Westernisation in the form of democracy, freedom of speech, so called hu- man/woman rights and so on is poisoning the minds of the youth of this ummah and fueling the deep division amongst the ummah. There is no other way to unite the ummah and deal with the problems we are facing than restoring Allah's authori- ty on the earth and it can only be achieved through Jihad. 17 Prophecy Six – You (Muslims) Will Follow Them (The Jews and The Christians) Step By Step " Then We put you on an ordained way concerning the matter [of religion]; so follow it and do not follow the inclinations of those who do not know." [Al- Qur'an 45:18] There were many occasions when the Prophet ‫ ﷺ‬commanded the Sahaba ‫رضى هللا‬ ‫ عنهم‬to do certain actions in order to differentiate from the disbelievers. For example, he ordered the sahaba to pray with shoes on as the Jews do not pray with their shoes on. Jabir bin Abdullah narrates how the Prophet ‫ ﷺ‬performed Hajj and he said " He (the Prophet) then went quickly before the sun rose till he came to the valley of Muhassar (it is situated between Al-Muzdalifah and Mina). He urged the camel a little and following the middle road." One of the reasons the Prophet quick- ly passed through this valley is that the polytheists used to stay in Muhassar and the Prophet intended to defy them in this action of theirs. He also intended to fast either 9th or 11th along with Ashura fasting in order to be different from the Jews. He also use to have suhur as it differentiates our fasting from the fasting of the people of Book. Many more examples can be found in the ahadith. The reason behind it is simple. It does not suit the people of the Honour (people of Islam) to imitate the disgraced ones (I.e the kuffar). Allah has honoured us and has perfected the religion of Islam for us. " This day I have perfected your religion for you, completed My favour upon you and have cho- sen for you Islam as your religion." [Al-Qur'an 5:3] Harun bin Antarah said that his father said " When this ayah '(5:3)' was revealed, during the great day of Hajj (The Day Of Arafah) Umar ‫ رضى هللا عنه‬cried. The Prophet ‫ ﷺ‬said " What makes you cry?" He said " What makes me cry is that our religion is being perfected for us. Now it is perfect, nothing is perfect, but is bound to deteriorate." The Prophet ‫ﷺ‬ said " You have said the truth." [At-Tabari 9:519] The Sahaba entered into Islam fully and embraced its every aspect whole heartedly but after that the state of the ummah started to detoriate and saw ups and downs throughout the history to this day. Today the ummah is sinking into the ocean of misguidance and it is heart- breaking. Allah has perfected our religion and preserved the Qur'an and the sunnah for us and guided us to the best way of life, but sadly most amongst us chose to follow the way of life of those before us (I.e The Jews and The Christians). By Allah! There is not a minor or major thing that they (The people of the Book) do and we don't. They divided and became sects so did we. They made halal, haram and vice versa and so did we. Their religion is restricted to synagogues and churches and our reli- gion is restricted to mosques. The prophet ‫ﷺ‬said " You (Muslims) Will follow the ways of those who were before you (I.e the Jews and the Christians) step by- 18 step." [Ash-Sharia'h P18] The kufri system that is implemented throughout the Muslim lands allows anti Islamic practices to spread and it has undoubtedly spread to the extent that our children see the Non-Muslims as their role models and are in- spired to be like them. The minds of our youth is poisoned at schools by the corrupt curriculum and at homes by the western media or murtad media. Hence they see the ways of the disbelievers as the only ways to success. If one were to study the current state of the ummah in the light of the Qur'an and the sunnah, he will be astonished when he finds out how closely we follow the ways of the Christians and the Jews. 19 Prophecy Seven – People Would Go Out From Islam In Crowds " And you see the people entering into the religion of Allah in multitudes." Al- Qur'an After the conquest of Makkah people started to embrace Islam in crowds." And you see the people entering into the religion of Allah in crowds" (110:2) After the death of the Prophet ‫ﷺ‬the Sahaba and the early generations of Muslims responded to the call of Allah" And fight them until there is no more fitnah (disbelief and shirk) and religion is for Allah" and took the banner of Islam to far far parts of the world. They recognised the importance of Jihad and saw it as a true form of Da'wah. They understood that through Jihad Allah would take generations and generations out of oppression of the so called religions to the justice of Islam. By Allah nothing describes the intention and efforts of the Sahaba and the early generations better than the beautiful words of Rabi Ibn Amr ‫رضى هللا "عنه‬We came out to liberate the servants from the worship of the servants to the worship of the Master (Allah) ; and from the oppression of religions to the justice of Islam; and from the inferiority of the Dunya to the greatness of Al-Akhirah." They indeed fulfilled the responsibil- ity that was placed on their shoulders and they were indeed the best of the people ever raised to set the example for mankind. " You are the best of the people ever raised up for mankind, you enjoin Al-Ma'ruf and forbid Al-Munkar and you believe in Allah" (3:110) Abu Hurairah ‫رضى هللا عنه‬said "(3:110) means - The best of the people for the people, as you bring them with chains on their necks till they em- brace Islam (and thereby save them from the eternal punishment in the Hell Fire and make them enter paradise in the Hereafter)." Al-Bukhari - The Prophet ‫ﷺ‬said " Allah wonders at those people who will enter paradise in chains." [Al-Bukhari ] The people refferred to in this hadith are the prisoners of war who were captured and chained by the Muslims and their imprisonment was the cause of their revert- ing to Islam. So, it is as if their chains were the means of winning paradise. The Sharia'h of Allah has been replaced with kufri systems (Democracy, Secular- ism). This has allowed the misguidance to flourish in Muslim lands. The so called Muslim leaders and the kufri systems allowed the misguidance to deepen its roots. Today, people leave Islam and apostatise, unaware of their apostasy. The existence of such systems will no doubt be the cause of the hidden apostasy of many if it is not replaced with the Sharia'h of Allah. A neighbour of Jabir Ibn Abdullah ‫رضى هللا‬ ‫عنه‬narrated: I returned from a journey and he came to meet me. I told him about division of the people and their novel ways. He wept and said that he had heard Al- lah's Messenger ‫ ﷺ‬saying " People had joined religion in large numbers and they would go out of it in large numbers." [Ahmad ] 20 Prophecy Eight - Sticking On To The Religion Will Be Like Holding Fire " [Firawn] said: " Believe you in him (Musa) before I give you permission? Verily, he is your chief who has taught you magic. So I will surely cut off your hands and feet on opposite sides, and I will surely crucify you on the trunks of date - palms, and you shall surely know which of us [ I or the Lord of Musa ] can give the severe and more lasting torment." [Al-Qur'an 20:71] Unfortunately the like of the Roman Empire has taken over almost the entire earth. During the time of the Roman Empire submission to God was not enough for the Christians, they had to submit to the Emperor as well. The Emperor was superior to the Bible and religious authority. Hence some commands of Bible were changed by rulers and people obeyed. Today! Muslims are in a similar situation. They are re- quired to submit to the so called Muslim leaders in disobedience to Allah. Muslim must abide by their law, when it is clear that their law is contrary to the Qur'an and the sunnah. Islam and the Qur'an has become restricted to the mosques alone. A Muslim is safe as long as he restricts his deen to the books and the four walls of the mosques. If he speaks or acts against what is contrary to the Qur'an and the sunnah in other words strive against it, he will either end up in prison or get killed. Submis- sion to these so called leaders and their law is must; Submission only in righteous- ness is not acceptable to these leaders. For the past hundred years scholars and men amongst the believers who wanted Allah's authority on the earth, were killed and imprisoned? Let alone the so called Muslim countries, even in the lands of revela- tion if a believer were to stop an evil with his hand will surely end up in prison. Practicing authentic Islam has certainly become the biggest crime committed on the face of the earth. How true are the words of the truthful when he said "Arabs will perish from the approaching fitnah. It is like a dark night. A man will be a believer in the morning, but a disbeliever in the evening. Many will sell of their faith for a little of this world. During such times anyone abiding by religion will be like one who holds a burning charcoal in his hands (or he said "like one holding thorns in his hands.")" Agreed Upon. There was a time when a person had to search for Fitnah. Today due to the emer- gence of the internet Fitnah comes to people. A person setting in one corner of world can be a part of a Fitnah happening in the other part of the world ; or he can be affected by it. So it is not a surprise anymore that a person is a believer in the morning and a disbeliever in the evening. Subhanallah! 21 Prophecy Nine – Unity Of Others Against Muslims "Say, [O Muhammad], "If your fathers, your sons, your brothers, your wives, your relatives, wealth which you have obtained, commerce wherein you fear decline, and dwellings with which you are pleased are more beloved to you than Allah and His Messenger and jihad in His cause, then wait until Allah ex- ecutes His command. And Allah does not guide the defiantly disobedient peo- ple." [Al-Qur'an] From the time of Nuh ‫عليه السالم‬to this day, the disbelievers are united against Muslims. Nuh said about the disbelievers of his time " And they plotted a mighty plot." (71:22) The attitude of the disbelievers and their hatred for Islam and its peo- ple haven't changed slightly. However, what has changed is their tactics. If anyone who wish to see the real attitude of the disbelievers towards Muslims he should study that part of the history when the disbelievers had an upper hand. When the Muslims were weak or few in numbers; or he should look at the destruction caused by air strikes in Iraq and Ash-Sham. The Qur'an confirms that we can only see the true face of the disbelievers when they have an upper hand. " If they gain domi- nance over you, they would be to you as enemies and extend against you their hands and their tongues with evil, and they wish you would disbelieve." (60:2) Three things created a perfect opportunity for the disbelievers to unite against the Muslims and resulted in this prophecy being unfolded: (i) The absence of Khilafah/ Islamic State for more than hundred years and no united leadership. (ii) The Mus- lims as whole abandoning Jihad. These two factors combined together encouraged the disbelievers, the crusaders in particular to unite against the Muslims. (iii) The third factor which without a shadow of a doubt led to their practical unity against the Muslims was the disbelievers inventing new and advanced weapons and tech- nology. The invasion of Muslim lands in the twenty first century was inevitable as the kuffar clearly had an upper hand. The hadith which we are going to mention will give one more reason for the unity of others against the Muslims, which is the love of this life. The focus of the as whole has shifted from the Deen of Allah to the worldly affairs. Sadly the worldly life has become the priority. In order to ensure political and business engagement with the enemies of Islam, the so called Muslim leaders had no option but to implement kufri systems such as secularism, democra- cy and compromise with them on so many things. They went to the extent that To- day they fear Western sanctions more than Allah. Hence they have made Halal, Ha- ram and vice versa and allowed Fawahish and misguidance to spread and practice openly. The love of this worldly life also led the Muslims to obey these Murtadeen 22 in disobedience to Allah. Today the state of the Muslims in general is such that they prefer secularism, democracy and nationalism as long as the economy do well. Apart from handful believers (a group of this ummah who keeps truth alive), we will not find a single occasion for the past hundred years, when the Muslims went out to speak against the widespread Fawahish and misguidance. However when prices go up, they go on the roads protesting. Abu Hurairah ‫ رضى هللا عنه‬narrated that he heard the Prophet ‫ ﷺ‬say to Thawban," Thawban, how would you feel when other peoples invite each other against you in the same way as diners invite each other to a meal?" Thawban submitted " O Messenger of Allah, may my parents be ransomed to you, shall we be few in numbers then?" He said " No! Rather, you will be in large numbers but your heart will be abscured by Duhn." He asked what duhn was and the Prophet ‫ ﷺ‬said " Love of the world and hatred for war." Ahmad - Without a shadow of a doubt the invasion of Afghanistan and Iraq triggered this prophecy and it will be fully unfolded in Dabiq ‫ بإذن هللا‬which we will explain later. The United Nations (UN) is nothing but a military base where the kuffar and their allies from the murtad governments come together to conspire against Islam and the Muslims and then either invade the Muslim lands or carry out air strikes. When USA wanted to invade Afghanistan, she called upon her allies (NATO) and invaded Afghanistan along with a coalition of 48 troops - contributing countries. In Decem- ber 2001, following the overthrow of the Taliban regime, UN Security Council Res- olution 1386 authorised the deployment of the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF). In August 2003, NATO took over the command and coordination of the ISAF. By Allah! The US invited others against the Muslims as people invite others to a meal. They will carry on like this until they meet their end in Amaq or Dabiq . ‫بإذن هللا‬ 23 Prophecy Ten – A Group Will Keep The Truth Alive. " Fighting has been enjoined upon you while it is hateful to you. But perhaps you hate a thing and it is good for you; and perhaps you love a thing and it is bad for you. And Allah Knows, while you know not." [Al-Qur'an 2:216] The prophecy we have explained so far led to the unfolding of an im- portant prophecy. We have already explained that Allah has favoured the ummah of Mohammad concerning the protection of religion in three ways: The Qur'an is protected from being corrupted and so is the sunnah as Allah sends a reviver every hundred years. Lastly the truth is put into practice by a group of this ummah. So praise be to Allah alone who keeps the truth alive for those who wish to follow. Some scholars are of the opinion that that the Prophet ‫ ﷺ‬foretold that the ummah will abandon collective Jihad and then a group of this ummah will keep the truth alive here and there. In other words Jihad will move from one front to another. If we look at the past hundred years that's what exactly hap- pened. Therefore, the prophecy in the following hadith has been unfold- ed. The Prophet said " There will always be a group of my ummah fighting upon the truth, having upper hand, not harmed by their oppo- nents, until the decree of Allah comes" Al-Bukhari ‫ رحمه هللا‬added" and they will be in Ash-Sham" The opinion of Imam Al-Bukhari ‫ رحمه هللا‬is supported by the following hadith - The Prophet ‫ ﷺ‬said " A section of my ummah will always be helped against the enemy. They will not be harmed by opposition or by injury till they get Allah's command in this state." Someone asked " Where will they be, O Messenger of Allah? He said " In Bayt Al-Maqdis and surrounding areas (I.e Ash-Sham)" Mus- lim, Ibn Majah 24 Prophecy Eleven – Al-Malhama Al-Kubra, The Great Battle " And there is none of the people of the scripture, but must believe in Him, be- fore his death." [Al-Qur'an] What brought the kuffar to Afghanistan and Iraq? What brought the crusaders to come together and carry out air strikes in Iraq and Syria? Nothing but their hatred for Islam and its people. The same thing will bring them to Dabiq soon ‫بإذن هللا‬ where the crusaders will meet their end at the hands of the believers. There will be people who will call the believers of that time terrorists and Khawarij as they do today. There will be people who will call the Shuhada (Martyrs) of Dabiq the dogs of Hell Fire, when they will be the best of martyrs in the sight of Allah. Ash-Sham Is the Center of the believers and the Center of Jihad from now on until Allah sends down his servant Isa Bin Maryam. Allah will purify the believers of Ash-Sham through trials to the extent that they deserve to welcome Isa the Prophet of Allah. The movement of Jihad in Ash-Sham is an indication itself that soon once against Isa will on the this earth. Blessed are the ones who are a part of the struggle that will lead to the mission of Isa, RELIGION FOR ALLAH ALONE! The Prophet ‫ﷺ‬ said " The (Last) Hour will not start until the Romans occupy Al-A`maq or Dabiq. An army, comprised of the best of the people of the earth then, will come from Al- Madinah and challenge them. When they camp face to face, the Romans will say, `Let us fight those who captured some of us. The Muslims will say, `Nay! By Allah, we will never let you get to our brothers.' They will fight them. A third of the (Muslim) army will flee in defeat, and those are the ones whom Allah will never forgive. Another third will be killed, and those are the best martyrs before Allah. The last third will be victorious, and this third will never be stricken with Fitnah, and they will capture Constantinople (Istanbul). While they are dividing war booty, after hanging their swords on olive trees, Shaytan will shout among them, saying, `Al-Masih (Ad-Dajjal) has cornered your people'.They will leave to meet Ad-Dajjal in Ash-Sham. This will be a false warning, and when they reach Ash-Sham, Ad- Dajjal will then appear. When the Muslims are arranging their lines for battle and the prayer is called for, `Isa, son of Maryam, will descend and lead them in prayer. When the enemy of Allah (the False Messiah) sees him, he will dissolve just as salt dissolves in water, and if any of him were left, he would continue dissolving until he died. Allah will kill him with the hand of `Isa and will show the Muslims his blood on his spear.[ Muslim] We ask Allah to punish the enemies of Islam with coronavirus and may Allah de- stroy global economy and globalisation with it. May Allah keep it away from Mus- lims. Ameen 25 Prophecy Twelve - The Emergence Of Yajuj And Majuj "And on that Day We shall leave them (Yajuj and Majuj) to surge like waves on one another; and the Trumpet will be blown, and We shall collect them (the creatures) all together." [Al-Qur'an] It is evident from the ahadith that Yajuj and Majuj will come out and Isa ‫عليه السالم‬ along with the Muslims will not be able to fight them, so they will take refuge in a mountain and invoke Allah to destroy them. Thus Allah will destroy the Yajuj Ma- juj. A part of a lengthy hadith states "Allah will reveal to him (Isa) I raised a people of My creation that no one can fight. Therefore, gather My servants to At-Tur (the mountain of Musa in Sinai). Then, Allah will raise Gog and Magog and they will swiftly swarm from every mount. Their front forces will reach Lake Tabariah (Sea of Galilee) and will drink all its water. The last of their forces will say as they pass by the lake, This lake once had water!' Meanwhile, Isa, Allah's Prophet Prophet , will be cornered along with his compan- ions until the head of a bull will be more precious to them than a hundred Dinars to you today. `Isa, Allah's Prophet, and his companions will invoke Allah for help and Allah will send An-Naghaf (a worm) into the necks of Gog and Magog! The morn- ing will come, and they will all be dead as if it was the death of one soul." [Muslim] There is a hadith that indicates if Al Khabath increased that would be the indication that the time of Yajuj and Majuj is near. Now if the time of Yajuj and Majuj is near then the descending of Isa must be nearer. The absence of the shariah and the united leadership for almost hundred years has increased Al Kha- bath to unimaginable level. Zainab bint Jahsh ‫ یرض ہللا عنھا‬narrates that “One day Allah’s messenger ‫ ﷺ‬entered upon her in a state of fear and said “ La ilaha illallah! Woe to the Arabs from the great evil that has approached (them). Today a hole has been opened in the dam of Yajuj and Majuj like this.” - The Prophet ‫ ﷺ‬made a circle with his index finger and thumb. Zainab bint Jahsh ‫ یرض ہللا عنھا‬added: I said “ O Allah’s Messenger! Shall we be destroyed though there will be righteous people amongst us? ” The Prophet ‫ ﷺ‬said “Yes! If Al Khabath increased. [Sahih Al Bukhari] The word Al Khabath is interpreted as illegal sexual intercourse and ille- gitimate children and every kind of evil deed ( see Fath Al Bari Vol 16 page 225). " And those who were to live, might live after a clear evidence." [Al-Qur'an] 26 In conclusion, Allah alone has the knowledge when exactly these prophecies began to unfold or will unfold in the future. Looking at events in the light of the Qur’an and the Sunnah is indeed one of the ways of pondering over the truth (i.e. the Qur’an and the Sunnah). When we see the prophecies being unfolded infront of our eyes, it should increase our Iman and should encourage us to strive hard in the path of Allah. The struggle of restoring Allah’s authority (a group who keeps truth alive) will eventually lead to the descending of Isa Bin Maryam ‫عليه السالم‬. How fortunate and blessed are those who support this cause in any way they can! How unfortunate are those who see the signs of Allah and it neither make them believe nor increase them in Iman. " Do they then wait for anything other than that the angels should come to them, or that your Lord should come. The day that some of the signs of your Lord will come, no soul will benefit from its faith as long as it had not believed before or had earned through its faith some good.” [Al-Qur'an (6:158)] 27
