AFFIDAVIT STATE OF IOWA, STORY COUNTY I, the undersigned, being duly sworn, state that all facts contained in this Complaint and Affidavit, known by me or told to me by other reliable persons form the basis for my belief that the defendant committed this crime State all facts and persons relied upon supporting elements of alleged crime On June 8, 2019 the victim reported that someone had entered his unlocked apartment and had stole his Xbox 1 gaming console and three controllers. Also stolen were $400.00 in cash and an Adderall prescription. The serial number of the Xbox 1 was collected. During the following months, officers took several reports of burglaries in close proximity to the victim's residence. The defendant was identified as a suspect for the burglaries. Officers executed a search warrant at the defendant's apartment and located the victim's Xbox 1 and controllers. The value of the Xbox was $250.00.
