We work in a dynamic and ever- changing environment, characterised by continual daily variation and challenges. We provide setup & administration, as well as physical aircraft & passenger handling, while coordinating with vendors and authorities. We maintain an extremely high level of safety and security culture. As we continue to expand our operation, we're looking for a passionate and strategic Training and Development Manager to lead our employee development initiatives and elevate performance across the business. About the Role: As the Training and Development Manager , you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating training programs that align with the company’s goals and enhance employee capabilities. You’ll work closely with all staff to identify learning needs, support development, and drive a culture of learning and engagement. You will be responsible for resolving daily issues related to staffing, operations, and resources, as well as coordinating with HR, the General Manager, and the CEO daily. Additionally, you will perform scheduled operational and VIP duties on multiple days each week, which include administration, flight handling, and coordination of all services. You shall work a maximum of 20 shifts per month, of which up to 8 shifts will be rostered as ADMIN at mixed times. The remaining shifts will be rostered as OPS / VIP agent duties, which primarily include Operational administration and VIP Aircraft handling. Operations & VIP shifts will include shifts starting as early as 0530 and finishing as late as 2330, including weekends. Key Responsibilities: Develop and deliver effective training programs that support employee growth and business goals. Maintain and ensure training is in accordance with company, customer & Airport requirements. Conduct training needs assessments and identify skill or knowledge gaps. Assist in the development of onboarding programs for new employees. Assist in the training of updates and procedure changes Assist in the construction of training material, manuals, auditing and safety reporting systems. Provide support to staff in all matters, problem-solving, daily challenges and leading by example. Working in Operations, assisting with flight setup, coordination, slots, handling and communication with customers, authorities and vendors – As all OPS/VIP staff members currently do. Working in VIP, assisting with handling of aircraft, taking care of crew, passengers and ensuring all services are provided in a safe, secure manner. What We’re Looking For: Proven experience in Aircraft Handling at a high level, at least 5 years in either flight operations, flight planning, crewing, Airport planning, dispatcher or Airline operations control. Preferably experience in leadership or training-type roles. Excellent English & Danish skills Ability to work in part flexible shift patterns, including weekends. Strong project management, communication, and leadership skills. Ability to design and deliver engaging training sessions (virtual and in-person). Experience with e-learning platforms and Learning Management Systems such as CPH Airports' E-LOOMI systems. IT knowledge of TEAMS, Office 365 and the ability to adapt to new software & modern-day tech. Someone to lead by example, of integrity and professionalism, while inspiring and motivating the team. The ability to delegate tasks, track progress and productivity and ensure tasks are delivered on time. A good, strong communicator, with a no-nonsense approach, who can give clear instructions, who is approachable and a good listener and capable of managing conflict calmly and reasonably. A problem solver, whereby you quickly assess the situation, develop solutions, make decisions and handle pressure. Ability to quickly learn new processes and procedures.
