Caledon Ski Club is a Neighbourhood Club - like a home away from home, that’s very close to home. Caledon’s proximity to the GTA makes getting a day on the slopes and on the trails an easy prospect. Founded in 1958 Caledon Ski Club has 55 acres of skiabl e terrain, 25 slopes and six chair lifts, including a new quad chair lift. It also has an ice skating rink and eight kilometers of snowshoe trails. Snuggled on Mississauga Road, the Ski Club is blessed with some of the most favourable snow conditions in O ntario. And when Mother Nature isn’t feeling co - operative on the snow front, Caledon Ski Club has a state - of - the - art snowmaking system to take over f rom December to the end of March. Advanced grooming equipment also ensures Members of this private club enj oy complete hill coverage throughout winter. PROGRAMS: Our Members benefit from an outstanding Alpine Development & Racing Program for all ages which is constantly producing National & International competitors from within our membership. Recently, our Freestyle program has gained traction and we’re seeing me dals consistently from our competitors. Trial Members receive a $200 Alpine Program (Ski School) Voucher for Group Programs or Racing Programs. TERRAIN: The terrain here at Caledon also provides for a great experience for the whole family with a wide va riety; from the Terrain Park, to a challenging run - down Porter’s Pipeline to a gentle ski down the Kandihar with your children. PROXIMITY: Is one of our greatest advantages – our proximity to major urban centers. This allows families to also participant in other sports or activities on the weekends - and not having to drive home from a northern club in white out conditions after a long day on the slopes is, as they say, “Priceless”. FOOD SERVICES: Caledon has two Lodges – both offer a variety of food ch oices – for a snack, a full meal or a supplement to your own picnic lunch. SNOWSHOEING & SKATING : We are proud to offer 8km of Snowshoeing Trails as well as an Outdoor Skating Rink for use by Members and their Guests. KIDS CLUB: Caledon is pleased to offer a Kids Clu b for use by Members and their G uests for children aged 1 - 5 years old at hourly rat es or through the purchase of a season’s pass GUESTS: You are welcome and encouraged to sign in your f amily & f riends by adding them to the Reservation List – they will have access to the Club for the day by purchasing a daily lift ticket. Our Events Co - Ordinator would also be happy to help organize a gathering of your friends, family, clients, colleagues or co - w orkers for a fun - filled day in the beautiful Caledon Hills. 2 RECIPROCALS : Following your Trial, as a Full Member, Caledon is pleased to offer an exchange program at six other Ski Clubs in Collingwood - Alpine, Beaver Valley, Craigleith, Devil’s Glen, Georgian Peaks, Osler Bluff. We also offer reciprocal privileges at Brampton Golf & Country Club, The Boulevard Club, The Oakville Club , The Royal Canadian Yacht Club, North Halton Golf Club, and The Adelaide Club. FEE STRUCTURE: Below is our Fee Structure for the 20 20 / 2 1 Season. Share purchase is not required until conversion to Full Membership. INITIATION FEES: If you opt to convert to Full Membership before March 15, 20 2 1 and pay in full or on a deferred payment plan of five installments over four years (you’ll pay two installments in your first year), at current initiation rates, the $2000 Trial Fee will be applied as a credit on your invoice towards initiation fees. At Caledon it’s a one - time, life - time initiation payment - no further “top - ups” are required – for adults or children.
