So, here’s the thing, we do have a reporter in the room , and for the record could you [ Andrew Di Giovanna, OCPA External Affairs Manager ] please tell us why the City of Fountain Valley [Huntington Beach (HB) ] has decided to leave the OCPA ? And I’ve heard a little bit of rumblings, political... but at the same time I do want to tell you I am all over social media to include some Huntington Beach s ocial media groups. Nobody is talking about it – nobody is saying “ Oh my God, I was saving so much money, why did they get out of that program ? What are they doing over there? ” So, could you please enlighten us? T hank you for the question... and just to clarify that it was the City of Huntington Beach (HB) that that decided to make that decision to depart. And I’m a HB resident myself so I was one of those saying that I was saving money... uh, which is unfortunate but you know council, I think it was a new council, um, new priorities that they have for, for the direction of their city. But I, I , I don’t know the minds of the council members. I worked actually very closely with the prior city council and the n the city council that came in after the prior city council which was the founding, uh, city council uh and founding – one of the founding members of OCPA. It was just a change of priorities, a change of direction once they came in But I’ll tell you that we worked very closely with them – we had very good relationships with all of our commercial customers, our residential customers – Huntington Beach had one of the highest participation rates of all of the cities in um, our our, um , our program other than Buena Park. And we worked really well with them. And that was one of reasons when they transitioned back to SCE for uh generation services, that they didn’t have any costs related to that transition back
