It is open to any colleagues within the NW1 area. We recruit for this group throughout the year and it is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative network of colleagues. Please find out more here: Problem Solving Our Development and Embedding schools have been busy working with their specialists on bespoke plans to implement and embed Mastery ideas in their individual schools. They have been looking at the 5 Big ideas which are Mathematical Thinking, Representations, Variation, Fluency and Coherence. These groups have been using an Action Classroom research cycle to focus on the impact of the changes they are making. Our Sustaining groups are running in all our geographical areas and are open to any number of colleagues from our sustaining schools. Each group has an individual focus including Mathematical Thinking, Coherence and moving forward with a confident Mastery curriculum. If your school is eligible for the Sustaining Phase and you haven’t yet signed up to participate, please do so here. SECONDARY TEACHING FOR MASTERY PROBLEM SOLVING We are running 2 programmes this year for colleagues teaching Core Maths. Our "New to Core Maths" programme is for those in the first 2 years of teaching the discipline. Our "Core Maths Pedagogy" Work Group is a collaborative group for experienced Core Maths teachers. We are actively recruiting for participants for the Core Maths Pedagogy group! Please find out more about these opportunities: NW1 Maths Hub and Turing NW Maths Hub Post 16 Opportunities.
