To my Dear Patients I am pleased to inform you that as of July 1, Salvado.Youth will become VOIX - ‘find your voice’. This is part of the process of refocusing my practice on adolescent psychiatry, predominantly on patients between 12 and 20 years of age. The renaming and rebranding is an essential step in strengthening my involvement with younger people and engaging with several external services. Be assured that I will continue supporting my current patients for as long as they require my assistance. Young people have it tough. They are expected to claim their adolescence whilst facing unprecedented and confusing information overload, dramatic societal changes, and demographic uncertainties. Unsurprisingly, there is a growing fear about the next generation and their emotional wellbeing. VOIX is creating a safe and supportive space for them to find their voice and develop their identity so they can live a fulfilling life and generously shape the future of the world. We all would like to see them grow confident and optimistic. I am very grateful to the Salvado Team for their ongoing support in the future. It is a real pleasure to work with this great team!
