It is offered to everyone every fall and has been for about 40years (that I can remember). Btw, the flu can be horribly dangerous to all ages. Loss of limbs, extreme fevers lead to brain damage, heart problems, and pneumonia (my brother had the flu this past summer with pneumonia and was in the hospital for 2 weeks, plus has recurring pneumonia).
