MANIFEST (english version for ERASMUS students) Dear Residents, In order to assume a different [A]pproach, which will be based on a more interventive, assertive and negotiating posture with the SASUL, which assumes itself as a transformer of life in common in our space, without forgetting the freedom to have social meetings and parties, so that everyone can feel heard, included (according to the will of each one) and with a role in determining the urgent choices to be made, we present ourselves as candidates to the Residents' Commission to guarantee higher efficiency, transparency, participation and maturity in leading the representation of all. Our main ideas are as follows: ❖ Considering that there have been some disappearances of food from refrigerators, buy safes for food storage, using a share of the "residents- Considering the need for more space to extend clothes, we propose the purchase of more removable stretches and that these are located in the living room, next to the sofa area, so that there is more space in their access, sun exposure and does not disturb the access to the refrigerators; ❖ Considering the lack of containers to put our wet clothes tanks we propose to buy more for the use of all; ❖ We will also try to redistribute the shelves of the freezer so that all residents have a small space allocated (we have already studied how to do it); ❖ Considering that we have a position of greater transparency and so that all residents know the decisions that are made with the "residents fund" that they pay, we will make a report of accounts with all the discriminated expenses and the respective invoices; as well as we will make a computer grid to control the payments, as well as the date when they are paid and the method of payment, besides signing a sheet that proves the respective payment, thus guaranteeing a greater control, transparency and efficiency in the management of the working capital; ❖ We will also try to find a printer, to which access would be restricted so that there would be control, to serve small prints, upon request and payment of a small amount to the commission (to share the cost of the ink cartridges). ❖ We will also try to encourage all residents to do the recycling, making everyone aware of its importance and environmental consequences; we will facilitate access to recycling containers, placing for example in the main rooms of the house a bucket with the 3 partitions, in order to avoid that residents have to go frequently to the street to catch cold or rain whenever they have to throw the garbage in containers, thus remedying this situation; and, finally, display the time of recycling collection so that all residents are informed. ❖ In order to facilitate the integration of ERASMUS students, not only to the Residence but also to the city, culture, language, etc, we propose to assign one of the Residents (who is interested and registered in advance) as " Godfather " of an Erasmus student, so that when the resident arrives he has an experienced person who can help him with the rules of the Residence, telephone operators, bank account, and any other need that the Erasmus resident has (not all universities have this type of programs). This is our [A]pproach, this is our proposal. We want to listen and talk to everyone equally. We want to rally combine parties and social gatherings with a more mature, professional and efficient approach to the committee's work: to serve the common interest of all: a harmonious and as comfortable neighbourhood as possible! We call on you to vote in conscience, to vote for what you believe will be the best for the Residence and, consequently, for all of us!
