Bren Imperia Environmental Day Multi-purpose Ground Golden Showers: 6 nos. If you have looked around multi-purpose ground, we know a few Peltophorum pterocarpum trees around MPG. These trees will grow huge, up to 30 meters. When they blossom, they will have beautiful yellow flowers all over the tree. Unlike Cherry blossoms, three will be a mix of green leaves & yellow flowers. But these trees are not planted in a full circle. The proposed plan is to plant 6 Golden Showers around the multi-purpose ground to complete the full circle. Golden Showers also blossom beautiful yellow flowers, which also grow big. When all of this is fully developed, we will have a beautiful yellow circle from the ariel view in spring. Hong Kong Orchids: 21 nos Around MPG, there are two circles of trees, the outer circle has large trees, and the inner circle contains Hong Kong Orchid Tree. This tree can blossom throughout the year. We have only a few trees, which is a partial circle. We have only red colour available on campus. The proposed plan is to plant 21 Hong Kong Orchid Trees with a mix of all the colours around MPG. Skating Ring Legistromia Indica: 18 nos At one corner of the skating rink, we already have 3 Legistromia Indica, which blossoms beautiful purple. Four more colours are available in this variety; the proposed plan is to plant 1 8 Legistromia Indica with a mix of all colours around the skating rink. Once all of them are matured, the skating ring area will be a good flowering garden with a mix of colours Walkway to MPG Brachychiton acerifolius: 6 nos The initial walkway is filled with Gulmohar which will blossom red colour flowers. There were around 6 of them which were dead, we will replace them with Brachychiton acerifolius. Brachychiton acerifolius is also a blossom red flower which will match with Gulmohar but it is much more elegant and green compared to Gulmohar in other seasons. Tabebuia rosea (Pink Trumpet): 4 nos In the middle walkway, we already have 3 Tabebuia rosea which is only one side. The proposed plan is to plant four Tabebuia rosea on the other side. If we plant four on the other side, In the middle of the walkway we will have a Cherry Blossom view. Tabebuia chrysotricha (Golden Trumpet): 3 nos Towards the end of the walkway, the plan is to plant three Golden Trumpets which blossoms golden yellow flower. We don’t have this variety on campus. The Golf Side Tabebuia Avellanedae: 6 Nos The other side of the Golf is next to the phase 2 boundary wall. The pattern of the trees is Tabebuia Avellanedae & Silver Trumpet. Currently, in some places, the pattern is missing, and some Tabebuia Avellanedae is dead. The plan is to correct the pattern, by reshuffling some trees and replacing the dead ones. To fix this we need to order six Tabebuia avellanedae Filicium decipiens: 1 No In the corner towards the pet park, there are a lot of concrete rounds available for residents to sit around the tree. In that one big tree is dead The plan is to replace that with Filicium decipiens which has the ability to grow big, an umbrella-like structure The seating area: in front of Wing 4 The seating area in front of Wing 4, near the fountain, which is also a walkway to the Basketball Court. Tabebuia rosea (Pink Trumpet): 6 nos In this area, we already have 6 Pink Trumpets which are ready to blossom next year. The plan is to extend this with 6 more numbers of the same variety on both sides. So, that, it will create Pink Walkway Jacaranda: 8 nos After Pink Trumpets, the plan is to plant eight Jacarandas which will blossom purple flowers similar to Pink Trumpets on either side of the path Legistromia Indica: 10 nos Towards the end of the walkway, there is already purple Legistromia Indica on one side. The plan is to plant 10 more of the same varieties of the mix of different flowering varieties on both sides of the walkway all the way up to Basketball Court Near Basketball Court Cassia javanica (Apple Blossom/Rainbow Shower): 2 nos In front of the Basketball court, we have some open space. In that open space, the plan is to plant two numbers of Cassia javanica. Cassia javanica is also called a rainbow shower, as it has the ability to change the colours of trees at different stages. Petals are red at first but gradually become pink and then peach. If we plant both the trees of the same height at the similar time, it also nice and complement each other Clubhouse area Fox tail palms: 10 nos If you look at the mock video prepared by Bren, the palm trees next to the clubhouse are looking very nice. And adds they are complementing very well with the design of the clubhouse But the reality is, we have very less palm which has the potential to grow as a tree. And the red palms around are more sort of indoor trees. The plan is to plant more palms which can grow all around the clubhouse except the lawn area in front of the clubhouse. Fruit orchard We already have a few fruit trees available behind Wing 1, the backside of the Tennis Court. The plan is to plant more fruit trees in that area so that it will become a Fruit orchard.
