In my own opinion, pain-based selling is far more effective than the alternative. But to know pain, you must experience pain. Attending college in the U.S.A exposed me to a modern society and it workings. However, when I moved back to Africa and started working as a software engineer, I began to see a lot of problems technology can solve. I believe this is when I began to experience pain. Furthermore, my experience working on different projects overtime helped foster my creativity. For example, I had worked on a simple virtual classroom platform in the past. However, when I thought of creating this product for the African local market I had to look at the problems in Africa and how this digital solution applies. The problem: Educational Integrity. Getting away with forging a diploma is easy in this part of the world (but again this is a global problem too... Experiencing pain in the local context made the problem more apparent). Add Value or Let Go My solution: Add blockchain technology to the virtual classroom platform. For example, student attendance can be stored on the blockchain, or even diplomas can be stored on the blockchain. These records cannot be changed thus helping establish educational Integrity.
