Turns out, t he artifa ct can be used to access memor y from objects in the world. There you found faint images of a girl that you used to be close with. It ’s like she is giving you clues to find her. Who is she? A nd w ha t is her relation to you? Fu rthermore, how does it connect with the w orld? Core Experience Player s are able to experience uncoverin g past secrets through memories and travel ling through time itself. Though for every action, there is an emphasis on the corr esponding consequences. C ore Direction Genre : Puzzle, story - rich Theme : Fantasy, Sci - fi, Victorian Core Loop Core Mechanics [Before continu ing, it is pr eferable to earlier read World Building section below] 1. Memory Gathering : Player s are able to interact with their surrou ndings to unlock events , som e of which can be memories for the pl a yers Not all interact ions can be registered as a memory, instead only a handful important enough interac tion can . The obtained memory w ill be kept and can be seen again from a certain gallery (accessab le in - game). The memories will be displayed as thumb nails of most vivid moment 2. M emory Access : Utilizing the power of Re Ronus , pla yers are able to access memories of the obje cts they encounter. At the moment, the obj ects in the topic are items Every object always ha ve its most vivid memory that can be se en by players (limited to 1 mem ory). Players will see the memory as a flashback and/ or image s in the M C ’ s mind. The memories may contain people ’ s interaction or may not contain anything important at all F or each memory accessed, a part of player ’ s already owned memories will be lost and substituted by the obtained memory. * 3. Encyclopedia : Encyclopedia is used as MC ’ s “ diar y ” filled with the items the player found in game. Encyclopedia will register every item alo ng with its time origin, site where it ’ s found, and deta iled description about the item. Only a certain amount of items can be registered in the Encyclopedia thro ugh the gam eplay, thus key items. 4. Time Travel : Utilizing the pow er of Re Khutupi , the MC is able to transport his matter to the past and resume the journey from the re. The access of tim e needs an item with an origin of certain time ( assi sted by Encyclope d ia) matter transport will happen to the accessed time , but on the same place. Every ti me MC tra nsport his body with this power, he will be aging ** Notes : * In the case where a memory is lost, there might be an additional eve nt regarding the said memory. For instance, if the lost memory is about the p layer ’ s meeting with perso n A, in the next occasion of meeting the MC will not remember A. ** The implementati on of aging is through appearance and character ’ s cognit ive ability. There wil l be several age stages for MC a nd wh en a stage is entered, there will be a change in the player ’ s sprite. Cognitive ability such as memorization (keeping memory ) will as well worsen as the MC enters a n “ older ” stage. His every entities always has 2 components, mind and matter Aside from that, Croscenus also created a record containing how the world will run. Everything that has, is, and will happen is poured in the holy grimoire of the world, named Croscenium Later, Croscenus left the world and the world runs on i tself. Even so, Croscenus gave the right to his every entities who “wants to imitate god ”. He created 3 a ncient artifacts with the name Re Ronus , Re K hutupi , and Re Nictus . All the 3 artifacts have acces s into the Cr oscenium , each w ith its own fu nctionality: 1. Re Ronus : Th e Artifact of Mind / Memory . Used to access mem ories through the object ’ s mind , 2. R e Khutupi : The Arti fact of Time. Used to transport matter to the pas t times , 3. Re Nictus : The Arti fact of Reality. Used to al ter the reco rd in Croscenium, by which will alter how the world runs. Even so, the u tilization of the 3 artifacts is n ot as easy as was thought. Every time s omeone use the artifact to access the Cros cenium, there is a price to pay 1. Th e usage of Re R onu s will take away the memory of the user In other way, resulting in the user ’ s part of memory being lost. 2. The usage of Re Khutupi will take away the time of the user. Realized in the way of aging fa ster. E very time the user mo ve through time, his matter (body) will age in a faster speed 3. The usage of Re Nictus will ta ke away the reality of the user himself. Meaning everything about the user will be sealed in the Croscenium, resulting in his ve ry existence “vanishin g ” from the world. No mind and m atter is realized in the world. Soon after realized the horrifying side effects of th e artifacts usage, a certain family who understands its danger (to the user and to the world ) offer themselves as the artifacts guardian , v owing not to give a nyone access t o the m. The 3 artifacts ha s to be kep t as safe as possible, and from that time forth the Algra nd family has been guarding them f rom generation to generation.
