This proposal is brought by us to tell others what we are offering by making Coldsip and filling the problem in the market. Unlike any other coffee shop, we offer a variety of coffee made from selected beans from around Indonesia and focusing on manual brew and many other things related to making good coffee. We believe that Indonesian coffee products are underestimated by even the people of our country, so we hope that by bringing Indonesian coffee beans, people can start to appreciate Indonesian products more. The problem that we are facing is how we get all the good products all around Indonesia with an efficient cost and good quality because in the pandemic situation it's very hard to go to other places. The other problem is how to compete with other brands that already have a big name and make our brand survive and thrive. By creating this brand, we hope the people of our country can appreciate Indonesian products more than other countries' products by introducing 1 of the greatest products Indonesia can offer, which are a wide range of coffee beans. 3 INTRODUCTION A. Background / Statement of the Problem As of right now, we believe that there are two major problems existing in the food and beverage industry. The first one is that It is difficult for people to get coffee that has a unique taste. The second one is that it is hard to find a coffee that has a distinctive taste but still has a low price. Us, under the business name Coldsip, is pleased to submit the following proposal for your consideration. B. Objectives / Purposes The purpose of us creating this proposal is to gain more investment on our café. We have built Coldsip on the objective of presenting people with different kinds of Indonesian coffee beans with the hope of gaining more attention and attraction towards local coffee beans. We have many projects that we wish to reach in the following years, hence why we proposed our business to you as our potential investor. We wish to have more funding to support our experiments on finding the best combination of coffee beans to produce the highest quality and taste in our coffee. C. The Boundaries of the Proposal 1. The experimentation of combining the Arabica and Robusta coffee is to be done as soon as the proposal is accepted 2. After the concoction is made, there will be a survey to selected peers in Bandung so we can know whether the product can succeed in the market or not 3. The timeline will be followed closely so our goals can be steadily achieved 4. The project will be deemed complete when not only we managed to combine and find the perfect combination of Arabica and Robusta coffee, but our sales went high. 4 BODY A. Proposed Solution and Anticipated Result Coldsip is established in early 2021, a coffee product that bringing many other coffee beans around the indonesian.by bringing many other beans we can attract customer who are a coffee lover, but not only to gain benefits by selling this product, we believe that by selling specialty beans on a specific region we area also promoting Indonesia rich culture by providing many beans we can appreciate more about the diversity of Indonesia. B. Concept, Product, or Service In the beginning, as we are still in the process of creating a specialty mix of coffee beans, we only provide 5 different beans from around the country like Gunung Tilu coffee from Pangalengan, coffee beans from Sumatra, Gayo Coffee from Aceh, Semendo Coffee from Palembang, and lastly Toraja coffee from Sulawesi. Not only providing the coffee, we also provide a variety of coffee serving methods like V60 or Japanese. By analyzing the problem stated earlier, we find the idea to solve the problem by creating a unique mixture. The combination of Arabica and Robusta coffee beans produces a distinctive taste and distinctive scent. We found a supplier who can provide quality coffee beans and they give below market price. We think the unique selling point of our coffee products is that we have developed the recipe for a long time and we have been through many experiments in order to see which combination is the most liked. The taste is going to be unique and very fragrant because we only use the best coffee beans from farmers that we trust and know do an excellent job in planting the seeds. C. Work Plan Our business we have to make 4 teams/divisions which are the expedition team for searching new types of coffee, the serving team for selling the or making the coffee for 5 the customer, the marketing team for introducing us to more customers, and lastly the finance division for keeping the business healthy from the finance aspect. Organization’s Experience, Personnel, and Facilities From the organization experiences we 3 are beginners for coffee making but we enjoy consuming coffee that makes us eager to make a new type of coffee shop product and service that many other coffee shops haven’t offered yet. Coldsip’s co-owners are Dave Sebastian, Bryan Jonathan, Fariq Raphael Ananda. Roles: 1. Dave Sebastian as Chief Operating Officer manages designing and implementing business operations, establishing policies that promote company culture and vision. He monitors every move of the business, both employees and customers. 2. Bryan Jonathan as Chief Marketing Officer controls the social media, making sure that the advertisement gets to the right target audience, researching and managing what the customers needs and wants. 3. Fariq Raphael Ananda as Chief Financial Officer plans business budgets and makes sure that we keep sticking to the budget. He also makes financial reports for our income and expenses. 7 COST ESTIMATION Coldsip Creative Bar already has two outlets located on Jalan Kopo Bihbul Raya 1 No.110, Bandung and at the automotive center, Kota Baru Parahyangan. We also will try our best to return the money that has been invested to us before and/or by the due date so that the investors would not experience loss. B. Expected Decision From the Reader Through this proposal, we are expecting that we can attract more investors to help us develop our special coffee beans mix and create local specialty.
