STUDENT DEFERRED TUITION PAYMENT PLAN AGREEMENT This Agreement sets forth the Terms and Conditions of the Kids in Showbiz – Rise Media Business & Technical Training School Inc., Student Deferred Tuition Payment Plan Agreement. In addition, the Student named above is: _______ an Adult Student; or _______ a Minor Student. TERMS AND CONDITIONS 1. The Rise Media Business & Technical Training School offers a convenient and affordable alternative payment plan. This monthly plan is offered to our students. You will have Ten (10) monthly payment installments and the terms are set forth below. For further questions, please contact Student Admissions at 301-244-5174. The following information below sets forth the Terms and Conditions for the Student Deferred Tuition Payment Plan between Kids in Showbiz - Rise Media Business and Training School Inc., (hereinafter referred to as “RISE”) and the Student (and/or Adult Financial Responsible Party) whose name is contained herein. 2. RISE offers a deferred tuition payment plan for students for the school year of their attendance which allows the Stu dent’s tuition to be paid in monthly installments. The first payment date begins on the date the plan is activated. Payments are set up under an automatic payment system from a Checking or Savings Account, Visa, or MasterCard with payments being deducted according to the 2 plan’s due dates for the semester. A processing fee of Thirty-five Dollars ($35) is charged at the time of the Student’s Registration 3. Arrangements to participate in the Deferred Tuition Payment Plan must be made via this form which can be accessed at the School’s website (www.RiseTrainingSchool.org) and selecting the Student Deferred Tuition Payment Plan link. Students must be fully enrolled in the Student Deferred Tuition Payment Plan prior to their tuition due date to avoid being dropped from their classes. 4. TUITION PAYMENT PLAN DEADLINES. While the School reserves the right to release courses due to non- payment following payment deadlines, it is the student’s responsibility to drop or withdraw from planned coursework prior to the start of courses to avoid financial responsibility. The School has discontinued the practice of daily course deletion due to non-payment to allow for additional processing time of expected payment sources. It is critical to follow-up on all expected payment sources and make sure the funds have applied to your account to secure your course selections. This includes student financial aid, payment plans, and third-party payments. 5. DELINQUENT ACCOUNTS. Delinquency in payment of any amount due from a Student, former student to the School or the Adult Financial Responsible Party or under any loan program administered by the School or failure of financial aid recipients to complete an exit interview before leaving the School will result in denial of registration, exclusion from classes, withholding of grades, transcripts or certificates. The School employs the services of a Collection Agency. One of the Collection Agency’s measures is to refer delinquent accounts to the credit bureau. It will remain on the credit report for the next seven years. If the delinquent account is referred to a collection agency, the student will be held liable for all collection costs incurred, in addition to the delinquent amount due. These collection costs can add up to one-third additi onal expense to a student’s (or the Adult Financial Responsible Party's) indebtedness to the School. 6. DEFERRED TUITION PAYMENT PLAN. You (the Student) and/or the Adult Financial Responsible Party confirm to have read, understand and agree to abide by the terms and conditions contained herein this Student Deferred Tuition Payment Plan Agreement. 7. PAYMENT AMOUNT AND PAYMENT SCHEDULE. There are a total of Ten (10) Monthly payments of ($450) Four Hundred Fifty Dollars. A one time payment of ($450) is due each month for a total of Ten (10) Months. The first payment is due when you Register Online (or In Person) for your Course Program of Study at RISE Training School. This is your First Month of Payment. Each payment thereafter is to be made to Rise Media Business & Technical Training School Inc., no later than the 10 th Day of each month in the amount of ($450.00 USD) Four Hundred Fifty Dollars. Payments can be made at our online Payment Portal at https://RiseTrainingSchool.org/PaymentPortal or In Person at the Main Office of Rise Training School. 8. LATE PAYMENTS. A ($25) Twenty-five Dollar Late Fee will be applied for any payment made past the due date (which is the Tenth (10 th ) Day of each month. 9. DELINQUENCY ACCOUNTS & PERSON RESPONSIBLE FOR STUDENT PAYMENTS. This Agreement does not create any agency, partnership or joint venture. 11. ATTORNEY'S FEES. In any legal action between the parties concerning this Agreement, the prevailing party shall be entitled to recover reasonable attorney's fees and costs. 12. TERM. The obligations of this Agreement shall survive from the Effective Date until the Student’s Course Payments are complete and paid in full according to the terms of this Agreement. 13. GENERAL PROVISIONS. This Agreement sets forth the entire understanding of the parties regarding confidentiality. Any amendments must be in writing and signed by both parties. This Agreement shall be construed under the laws of the State of Maryland. This Agreement shall not be assignable by either party. Neither party may delegate its duties under this Agreement without the prior written consent of the other party. The confidentiality provisions of this Agreement shall remain in full force and effect at all times in accordance with the term of this Agreement. If any provision of this Agreement is held to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable, the remaining portions of this Agreement shall remain in full force and effect and construed so as to best effectuate the original intent and purpose of this Agreement. 14. SIGNATORIES. This Agreement shall be executed on the date first written on the first page of this Agreement by and between the Student (or the Adult Financial Responsible Party on behalf of the Student or Minor Student whose names are first written on Page One of this Agreement) and the Kids In Showbiz – Rise Media Business & Technical Training School Inc.
