They'll also help to provide you with life skills such as English, Maths and Communications whilst providing you with a greater understanding of challenges we face and differences that we celebrate through topics such as Equality, Diversity & Inclusion, Safeguarding and British Values. APPRENTICESHIP QUALIFICATIONS An Apprenticeship Qualification is made up of two distinct sections. 1.On-Programme phase 2.End Point Assessment (EPA) On-Programme – During this phase of the qualification you will be taught, learn and put into practice the following; Knowledge, skills and behaviours of your Apprenticeship Qualification standards ·Literacy and Numeracy ·Digital Skills ·Wider Life skills (broader society awareness) – safeguarding , Prevent, BV etc. End Point Assessment – During this phase you will complete all of the EPA tasks, these could include any of the following depending on your Qualification; ·Knowledge Test ·Professional Discussion ·Competency based interview ·Observation ·Project APPRENTICESHIP LEVELS & EQUIVALENCIES Gaining an Apprenticeship Qualification is really something that you should not only be proud of but also shout about. People think an Apprenticeship is aimed at young people just starting out in the world of work, this couldn’t be further from the truth. You can study for an Apprenticeship Qualification at any age the only barrier is your commitment and determination to succeed. Apprenticeships in the workplace start at Level 2 and go on to Level 7 the diagram below demonstrates the levels of qualifications and their equivalencies. This will happen in three phases throughout 2021: Phase 1: Production Chef Level 2 Phase 2: Senior Production Chef Level 3 Phase 3: Hospitality Manager Food Route Level 4 KITCHEN ACADEMY Starting June 2021. 15 places available. 15 month programme; 12 months on programme – learning, knowledge, skills and behaviours and 3 months End Point Assessment. Starting early September 2021. 20 places available. 18 month programme; 15 months on programme – learning, knowledge, skills and behaviours and 3 months End Point Assessment. This programme is designed for Head Chefs within the business that want to develop their managerial skills, coaching skills and gain a better understanding of how to run a Parkdean Resorts kitchen. Starting end of September 2021. 20 places available. 18 month programme; 15 months on programme – learning, knowledge, skills and behaviours and 3 months End Point Assessment. Production Chef Level 2 This programme is designed for new Chefs or people that want to become Chefs within Parkdean Resorts. The Production Chef qualification will teach and develop your skills, knowledge and behaviours in a fast-paced production kitchen environment. Senior Production Chef Level 3 This programme is to identify Chefs within the business that want to gain promotion to 2nd Chef or are currently a 2nd Chef looking to gain more knowledge, skills and experience within their role. To be recommended for this programme you will need your Head Chef, GM and Food & Beverage team sign off. Hospitality Manager Food Route Level 4 To be recommended for this programme you will need your GM and Food & Beverage team sign off. Aimed at Accommodation teams to develop Supervisors and Managers following on from the successful Leading the Way training programme. These qualifications will cement the knowledge, skills and behaviours learnt during the Leading the Way training. Phase 1: Hospitality Supervisor Level 3 Phase 2: Hospitality Manager Level 4 ACCOMMODATION ACADEMY Starting early September 2021. 20 places available. 18 month programme; 15 months on programme – learning, knowledge, skills and behaviours and 3 months End Point Assessment. Starting end of September 2021. 20 places available. 18 month programme; 15 months on programme – learning, knowledge, skills and behaviours and 3 months End Point Assessment. Hospitality Supervisor Level 3 This programme is designed for Accommodation Supervisors or people wanting to be an Accommodation Supervisor. This qualification will endorse previous training from the Leading the Way and further develop knowledge, skills and behaviours to be able to supervise and lead a team. To be recommended for this programme you will need your Accommodation Manager, GM and National Accommodation team sign off. Hospitality Manager Level 4 This programme is designed for Accommodation Managers or people wanting to be an Accommodation Manager. This qualification will endorse previous training from the Leading the Way and further develop knowledge, skills and behaviours to be able to manage and lead a team. To be recommended for this programme you will need your GM and National Accommodation team sign off. LEADERSHIP ACADEMY This academy has been designed to identify and develop people within the business that want to grow their career within Parkdean Resorts through a programme of recognised qualifications. Phase 1: Hospitality Supervisor Level 3 Phase 2: Hospitality Manager Level 4 Phase 3: Operations Departmental Manager Level 5 Starting September/October 2021. 20 places available. 18 month programme; 15 months on programme – learning, knowledge, skills and behaviours and 3 months End Point Assessment. Starting September/October 2021. 10 places available. 18 month programme; 15 months on programme – learning, knowledge, skills and behaviours and 3 months End Point Assessment. Starting October/November 2021. 10 places available. 2 year programme:; 21 months on programme – learning and development and 3 months End Point Assessment. Hospitality Supervisor Level 3 This programme is designed for all Head of Departments on park or people who want to develop to become a Head of Department. Aimed at providing you with the knowledge, skills and behaviours to develop, manage and run a successful team or department within Parkdean Resorts. To be recommended for this programme you will need your GM, RD and relevant sector team sign off. Hospitality Manager Level 4 This programme is designed for all On-Park Managers or people who want to progress to become an On-Park Manager. Aimed at providing you with the knowledge, skills and behaviours to develop, manage and run a successful team or department within Parkdean Resorts. To be recommended for this programme you will need your RD and relevant sector team sign off. Operations Departmental Manager Level 5 This programme is designed for current General Managers that would like to improve their knowledge, skills and behaviours and progress their career further with Parkdean Resorts. To be recommended for this programme you will need your RD and OD sign off. Starting June, 8th September and 28th September 2021. 50 places available: 15, 15 and 20. 2 year programme; 21 months on programme – learning and development and 3 months End Point Assessment. This academy is designed for people that want to improve their coaching and mentoring skills and knowledge. This is being delivered virtually by Riverside Training. Coaching Professional Level 5 To be recommended for this programme you will need your RD sign off.
