This is why #STCDOBETTER also caught the attention of the STC community and the general public. Our Response A L L I A N C E O F T H E R E S I A N S E N D I N G H M A R C ate.stcdobetter ate@stcdobetter.org stcdobetter.org We have created a concise plan within an agreed timeline that focuses on urgency, with the key stakeholders, that will help reorganize and redevelop the school’s current systems, policies, procedures, cultures, and to make sure that these changes are sustained. The plan aims to prevent and effectively recognize incidents that fall under HMARC. Key Action Points and Policies were identified to create a culture of zero tolerance for HMARC cases, and engage all STCQC ‘Stakeholders’ to pro-actively respond to this pressing concern. Demands 1. PUBLIC APOLOGY Issue a public apology towards victims , families , and to the whole Theresian community Avoid victim blaming and gaslighting 2. INVESTIGATION Investigate reported cases and impose proper sanctions on those who will be found guilty of such abuses 3.
