1 FAITH CHELTENHAM EVOKES APPROACHES FOR THE LGBTQ COMMUNITY GREAT HUMAN FAITH CHELTENHAM Faith Cheltenham has made it her mission to inform and educate her Black brothers and sisters, as well as their white and light allies, about the significance of supporting the Black Community over the years. 2 SUPPORT FOR BLACK PEOPLE Many Black Support platforms are led by Faith Cheltenham , who places human rights at the forefront. As a Human Rights Campaign intern on the Gore 2000 campaign, she ran her first formal campaign in 2000, advocating for Black LGBT people. This served as the foundation for her 2002 co-founding of UCLA's BlaQue, a group for LGBT/SGL students of African heritage. 3 ENCOURAGE RESPECT FOR ALL LGBT+ COMMUNITIES. CONDUCT SOCIAL- EMOTIONAL LEARNING ACTIVITIES IN SCHOOL TO FOSTER PEER RELATIONSHIPS AND HELP STUDENTS DEVELOP EMPATHY. PROHIBIT HARASSMENT, BULLYING, AND VIOLENCE AGAINST ALL LGBT+ YOUTHS 4 ENCOURAGE PARTICIPATION IN CLUBS THAT PROMOTE A SAFE, WELCOMING, AND ACCEPTING SCHOOL ENVIRONMENT FOR BI YOUTH. 5 Finally, one of the activists striving to support the LGBTQ community is Faith Cheltenham . Cheltenham made improvements to their life together. Cheltenham gave them better employment options so they could live their lives according to their own terms. Additionally, in 1999, Cheltenham spoke as a social activist at the National Gay & Lesbian Task Force, the Creating Change Conference, and San Diego Comic-Con.
