MY PEOPLE MY EVERYTHING PROMOTION Ts & Cs 1. The Promoter of this prize is Metropolitan, part of Momentum Metropolitan Life Limited, an authorised financial services (FSP 44673) and registered credit provider (NCRCP173) (the “Promoter”). 2. The Promoter is offering entrants the opportunity to win an umsebenzi (a celebration honouring the people in their lives). 3. The promotion will be run on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. 4. Entrants must be South African residents, aged 18 years or over. This promotion is not open to any employees of the Promoter, its affiliated companies or their families. 5. By entering the promotion, entrants confirm that they have read and agreed to these terms and conditions. 6. The promotion is open to entries from 00h00 20 June 2021 until 23h59 on 4 July 2021. 7. Participation by all entrants in the Metropolitan My People My Everything promotion constitutes acceptance of these rules. 8. Entrants may enter on either Facebook or Twitter as many times as they like, but can only win once. Incomplete, illegible, misdirected or late entries will not be considered. 9. To enter the promotion, an entrant must record and share a video of themselves in conversation with the father figure that has impacted their lives positively. Entrants must share that recording or video onto social media using the hashtags #MyPeopleMyEverything. Entries close 4 July 2021. The entry mechanism for the promotion will be posted on Facebook and Twitter in the pinned promotion post on each platform. 12. Entrants consent to the Promoter re-using their posts for the purposes of advertising, including consenting to the Practitioner, as an agent of the Promoter, using the video for the purposes of the Promoter. 13. By entering the promotion, the entrant agrees and undertakes to assign to the Promoter the sole and exclusive intellectual property rights including copyright whether in existence now and/or created in the future and any other rights in all media throughout the world and universe in all the material entered for the promotion (except their personal information). 14. Each winner will be notified within 10 working days of the promotion ending on 4th July 2021. 15. The Promoter will contact the winners through Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. Winners need to be contactable via Facebook Messenger, Instagram Direct Messages and Twitter Direct Message. 16. The winner will need to respond with acceptance of the prize, as well as correct details, within 7 days of the Promoter making contact. Failure to do so may result in a new winner being chosen. 17. The winners will be required to confirm their identity. 18. Winners will receive their prize within one month of the promotion closing. 19. The judge’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. 20. Winners can decline to have their photographs and names published on Facebook and Twitter for marketing purposes during this promotion. However, they must inform the Promoter within 7 days of the Promoter making contact. 21. All prizes are non-refundable, non-transferable and non-exchangeable and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other liquid instrument. 22. The Promoter reserves the right to offer an alternative prize of similar value. 23. The Promoter does not accept responsibility for network, computer or software failures of any kind and has no responsibility for lost, delayed or misdirected entries. 24. The Promoter reserves the right to discount any inappropriate or offensive entries and to disqualify any entries if the Promoter, at its sole discretion, believes that there has been an attempt to manipulate or tamper with the operation of the promotion. 25. The Promoter does not accept any responsibility for any infringement of any third-party intellectual property rights caused by entrants entering this prize draw. 26. Except for the purpose of carrying out the promotion, contacting entrants or sending out prizes, the Promoter will not use entrants’ personal data for any other purpose without the express consent of the entrant. 27. The Promoter reserves the right to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, this promotion without prior notice.
