Hi there, I appreciate you taking the time to read our story, We're just 2 sisters that have suffered with health problems most of our lives and was advised in our 30's after years of suffering and different meds to try cannabis and to our surprise it worked. For us its a better alternative than opiates like oxy, oramorph, cocodamol and diazepam. When we use cannabis we can actually be pain free both physical and mentally without the horrible side effects the opiates have. I myself have seen my sister become a shell of her former self no longer able to do most things for herself so badly I've become her carer. She had a bad fall on the 23rd of December due to the amount of opiates in her system and I'm not sure how long her recovery in hospital will be as she was hurt quite badly and is now on ketamine pumps and fentanyl pumps every 5 minutes. So at the moment I'm doing it alone but with her mind as I think a ratio of thc and CBD rso that would help her pain but also give her a life back but be able to remember things and have her mood lifted naturally. We decided to start growing back in July last year as we just cannot afford the costs anymore. A decent oz over here can be anything from £220 + £400 and our benefits are around £600 per month and we smoke around 3oz per month only pure no tobacco so we have just been existing. Mostly spending all of our money on our "medicine" than be mindless miserable zombies instead. So my elderly parents gave us a £500 loan to buy all the bits I needed to grow, long story short I was ripped off and in the end I now owe my parents around £700 for all the stuff needed for a 1x1x1.8 tent. That didn't go well and yielded around 4.3oz due to mold issues we lost quite alot. So now we're doing it again this time with 4 popped seeds that are around 38 days old and more knowledge this time except now we still have to buy it as well. We started Sistersgrowz because since becoming a medicinal smoker we see more and more people struggling to survive while affording their medicine which can be of any quality and strain. So at I'm looking for compassionate growers by some miracle to help us out with flower or extracts, no amount is too small! until my crop is ready and were also trying to get help with nutrients as we only have a small amount left, and also better equipment as we go. An LED light and a humidifier are top on our list. But we intent to help others and we eventually want to offer subsidised or free grow kits to those in need, Even one plant in a cupboard is a start. So we know its a big ask but even a share of our story or Instagram page to spread awareness as would help us out more than you can know. We have already been kindly helped out with 10 seeds and the starter pods from royal queen seeds, a new fantastic temp and humidity monitor and Dynavap are amazingly sending us some vapes as they think we can cut our usage down that way and help with costs.
