Turning the Sun’s Energy Into Usable Power Happens in Several Steps- The solar panels collect energy from the sun and convert it into DC power. The DC power from the solar panels are sent to a solar inverter, where it is converted into AC power for use in your home. AC power travels from the solar inverter to your electrical breaker box. POWER PLANT REQUIREMENTS Space requirement for installation of rooftop solar PV system is around 100 sq. feet for 1 kw system with 20 % for regular movement and cleaning the PV system.
