Wish List 2021 Wish List 2021 Christel House South Africa is a non-profit school with a single mission: to break the cycle of poverty. We offer no-fee scholarships to students from some of Cape Town’s poorest neighbourhoods and support them for 19 years (Grade RR to Grade 12 and five years post matric) through character-based and career focused education. Our beneficiaries include approximately 800 students from grade RR to 12, 250+ post-matric students and more than 3000 parents and other members of the communities we serve. You can change lives by simply donating any of our Wish List items. From stationery and books to uniforms and sporting equipment, donated items are just as valuable as monetary donations as it reduces our operational costs. In-kind donations to Christel House are tax deductible in terms of Section 18A of the Income Tax Act of 1962. As such, individuals and businesses qualify to receive a tax certificate for the value of the item(s) donated. Businesses can also receive BEE points for their contributions. We use reliable, local contractors to support our local economy. Stipends range from R740 per month to R350 once-off allocations to new working graduates.
