A Warrior's Prayer With the Armor of God Heavenly Father, today I rise as Your warrior ready for the battle. I want to live in Your victory by putting on Your full armor! I put on the Belt of Truth! I ask that I may stand firmly in the truth of Your Word so I will not be a victim of the lies of my enemies. I put on the Breastplate of Righteousness! May it protect my heart from the enemy so I may remain pure and holy, and others may see the righteousness of Jesus in me. I put on the Shoes of the Gospel of Peace! May I boldly stand tall with the Good News of the Gospel so the peace of God will be seen in me and I will be a shining light to all I encounter. I take the Shield of Faith! May I extinguish Satan’s flaming arrows of doubt, denial, and deceit so I will not be in jeopardy of spiritual defeat. I put on the Helmet of Salvation! May I keep my mind focused on You so the Spirit and not the enemy, will have control over my thoughts. I take the Sword of the Spirit! May the two-edged sword of Your Word be ready in my hands so I can expose the tempting words of Satan.
