Mr. Stephen Day, Directors & District Delegates Dated: Queensland Branch, RSL Queensland (ABN 79 902 601 713) 283 St Pauls Terrace Fortitude Valley QLD 4006 TO ALL SUB BRANCHES AND AUSTRALIANS OF THE COMMONWEALTH Dear Mr Stephen Day (Qld State President/Chair, and others) RE: CONCERN FOR THE FUTURE OF ANZAC AND POSITION OF THE RSL. PREAMBLE: For the purposes of the letter, and referencing the solemn oath of “lest we forget”, it’s time to ask; “exactly what is it that the men, women and future generations of Australians, are supposed to remember?” Are we upholding the faith? Are we being true to the blood sacrifices that have been made on our behalf? Recent events during the last two years are telling. They have revealed how little regard our political leaders in every state and the country have, for the freedoms our forefathers fought and died for. I refer to border closures and lock-downs under the ongoing political declaration of a ‘state of emergency’. Following world-wide resistance to what has been a deceptive global agenda, we can clearly see the brutal enforcement was ineffective and unnecessary. Yet the willingness of our politicians to support a foreign crown, foreign faith and foreign agenda of the World Health Organisation (WHO), the United Nations (UN) and World Economic Forum (WEF), has exposed acts of treason, and the direction our country is being taken in. ANZAC TRADITIONS AND THE BLUE FLAG. These unelected non-government organisations referred to above, publicly promote communist ideologies aimed at removing the sovereignty of nations, while preparing governments for the roll out of their documented agenda of; a one world government, cashless society, social credit system, facial recognition cameras and populations herded into mega cities by 2050. It is happening now! But, how can this be happening in Australia? The people are not being given a choice, yet very soon a global government will consist of unelected corporations that share in the spoils each country has to offer under what the WEF refer to as “Stakeholder Capitalism”. Yes, it will be a shock to those who believe information from the television or radio stations to be the truth, but this has been planned for many years, and upon close reflection, those who seek the actual truth can easily find it. 2 If you recall the sacking of Gough Whitlam in 1975, when the government was corporatized, successive governments began “selling Australia out” to foreign globalist organisations. What happened to our manufacturing industry? So many industries were destroyed. Soon farming will follow the same fate, as more and more produce is imported. They call this globalism. THE FLAG AND THE CONSTITUTION As imperial subjects of the Commonwealth, we are all obligated to uphold the memory of our founding fathers, and perhaps the most significant demonstration of unity, is raising the land flag of the commonwealth. Could this be why the blue “corporate” flag has replaced the “peoples” red flag, because the unity they seek requires an allegiance to a foreign power? As we continue to ‘forget’ what is important, we can expect that events like the most recent staging of a coloured light display to signal support for gay and lesbian (LGBTQ) groups at the Melbourne Shrine of Remembrance, will meet less and less resistance. Such disregard for our sacred history and the foundation stone of this country, appear commonplace in a country that knows not what its history really is. Only after Veterans risked arrest and protested, was the promotion removed. So which flag do we recognise? Red ensign land flag of Commonwealth Blue Corporate flag of Australian Subjects: 1903 to 1954 Government: 1954 to 2022 HISTORY OF THE FLAGS The Red Ensign was consecrated in all capital cities of the Commonwealth. It was assented by King Edward VII in late 1902, and gazetted 20 February 1903. It was the flag our ANZAC Soldiers went to battle with and fought under. It was the universally recognised land flag of Australia up until 1954. The Flags Act 1953 formally adopted the blue design as Australia′s “National Flag” and the Act was assented to by Queen Elizabeth II on her first visit to Australia on 15 April 1954. More than 53 years after the first flag design was hoisted, Australia had another official national flag, yet this change was never put to the people via any referendum. It seems clear Menzies′ arbitrary changing in 1954 of the then popular Red Ensign to blue, without consulting the Australian people, was for blatant political purposes in his election campaign spreading the fear of the “red” communist peril. But it wasn’t the flag we needed to be concerned about, it was the politicians and their support for the early version of the UN, the League of Nations. RSL Queensland and Local Branches – Our Flag 3 Now in 2022/2023, the time has come for the RSL to patriotically consider the history of our red land flag and the significance of its existence. It would also be beneficial for the RSL, and its member base, to look to the future and consider where we are heading as a nation. Under the Red Ensign Land Flag, our past has been enshrined by the blood of young men and women who gave everything so we could enjoy a future free of suppression by totalitarian governments and dictators. And for some time, that has been achieved. We have capable young people willing to step forward and carry the flame of remembrance, but the foundations need to be solid and reflect the truth, not a political deception that supports the foreign agenda of the United Nations and global corporations to dictate against what our constitution already has laid out for us. It should also be remembered, that the people of Australia, carry the rights and freedoms of the Commonwealth, and the flag is a heraldic device for who we are as a country. I call upon the RSL to show support for Australia and our ANZAC heroes, by displaying the Red Ensign Land flag throughout the year alongside all our usual commemorations. I also call upon the RSL to ‘support’ rather than ‘discourage’ subjects who independently raise the red ensign land flag on our flag poles from time to time, and the RSL to recognise such as a sign that these subjects know history and are upholding the solemn oath of remembrance, “Lest we forget”.
