We are playful in our practice and serious about the solutions. P r o f i l e Young Champions are a team of young people who have a passion for improving how decision-makers listen to, value, and act on young people's voices and lived experiences. They are aged 13-25 and live or work or study in England, UK. As a team, they work with CQC's senior leaders to solve BIG Business Challenges. This might include youth proofing paperwork, training professionals on how to engage brilliantly with other young people or finding out young people's real lived experiences of health and social care. With accredited training and support, they work together to hear other young people's views too - making sure they have the right information to help senior leaders make the right decisions on behalf of young people. The role lasts for 6 months, meeting as a group monthly and being led by the CQC Lead Young Champions. Young Champions will work regularly with senior leaders to help them understand what it's like to access health and social care today.
