MATERIALS FOAM CORE BOARD 1/2” and 3/16” SCRAP BOOK PAPER JEWELRY CHAIN U-SHAPED BOBBY PINS CHALK OR ACRYLIC PAINT TWINE or JUTE 1” JUMP RING HOT GLUE GUN HOT GLUE X-ACTO KNIFE and BLADES TACKY GLUE SKEWER WIRE CUTTERS E600 (optional) INSTRUCTIONS STEP 1 Cut 2 pattern pieces out of foam core board as shown on pattern pieces. Using your x-acto knife. STEP 2 Glue scrapbook paper (I used tacky glue) to each piece and trim. I covered both sides. Glue a skewer piece into the wing and body of the bird (used hot glue for this). Shown on page 4. STEP 3 Paint edges including skewer. STEP 4 Wrap twine or jute around the ring-shaped piece. Secure with glue at the beginning and end (I used tacky glue). STEP 5 Follow assembly instructions on page 4. All of my projects are made with items I have. Feel free to sub out materials for what you have. Project ideas are for inspiration. It is holding fine. To be extra sure, you may want to use E600. Attach the chain pieces to the pin ends, add glue and stick into foam pieces and the twine ring at the end.
