requirements and procedures for the identification, prevent ion, and management of flood risk on the project, including flash flooding, heavy rainfall, and water accumulation, in line with the Expo Riyadh Construction Safety Manual (ERCSM), the requirements of the Saudi Civil Defense, and applicable Saudi regulatio ns. This document describes how A BYATONA shall prepare for, respond to, and recover from flood events affecting the site, its personnel, plant, temporary works, and the surrounding environment, and complements the project's overarching Emergency Response P lan (ERP). 2 SCOPE This Plan applies to: ● ABYATONA (as Contractor) and all Subcontractors working on the project. ● All site offices, temporary facilities, laydown areas, and work areas, including excavations and underground works. ● All phases of the project (m obilization, earthworks, excavation, construction, commissioning, and handover). ● All flood - related hazards including flash flooding, heavy rainfall, water accumulation, and drainage system overflow. ● All personnel, including employees, subcontractors, visit ors, and third parties present on site during a flood event. 3 OBJECTIVES This Plan is intended to: ● Identify flood hazards associated with the project and implement proportionate prevention and control measures. ● Establish a structured system of weather moni toring, trigger levels, and early warning to enable timely decision - making. ● Ensure the safety of all personnel through clear evacuation, rescue, and emergency response arrangements. ● Minimize damage to plant, materials, temporary works, and the surrounding environment during flood events. ● Define clear roles, responsibilities, and communication channels for flood preparedness, response, and recovery. ● Ensure compliance with ERCSM, Saudi Civil Defense requirements, and applicable Saudi regulations and standards ● Promote continuous improvement through drills, inspections, incident learning, and periodic plan review. 4 REFERENCES This Plan has been developed with reference to the following documents and standards: ● ABYATONA shall comply with the applicable requireme nts of the Construction Environmental & Social Management Plan (CESMP), Document Reference No. (WF - 010516) ABD - 0062 - ENV - PLN - 00003, including the relevant requirements of the Water Management, Erosion and Sediment Control, Incident Management, and Emergency Response Plans, as applicable to flood management activities.
