Since the cycles are precise and ordered, we can use astronomical tools like Stellarium or Skyview Café, or web-based tools like Timeanddate.com to see the exact moon phase at any specific time. This was performed for all of the Apollo Moon Landing Missions Apollo 11 through Apollo 17, with 2 that are easily proven to be fake, as the photos presented to the public show them sunlit. 3. APOLLO 11. The first moon walk initiated on 20-July-1969 at 3:17PM EST, and lasted for 2 ½ hours. Based on Stellarium, the moon phase was a 33.1% waxing crescent. Using a photo of a 33% waxing moon for comparison, the Apollo 11 landing site was in the dark in this timeframe, so all of the photos provided to the public cannot be from the surface of the moon. 7 Moon Landings Proven Fake Using Moon Phases, cont‘d 3. APOLLO 12. The second moon walk initiated on 19-Nov-1969 at about 9:00 PM EST, and lasted for 3 ½ hours. Based on Stellarium, moon phase was 79.1% waxing crescent. Using a photo of an 80% waxing moon for comparison, the Apollo 12 landing site looks to be in the edge of the dark in this timeframe. All photos should have exhibited very long shadows as the Sun would have been less than 5 degrees in Elevation. Apollo 12 photos to the right do not show long shadows, and exhibit closer to 45 degree lighting. 4. APOLLO 12 – Stellarium View. Using another tool to look at how the moon looked, the Apollo 12 landing site is clearly in the dark. 5. Remaining Missions. All of the remaining missions Apollo 14-17 were evaluated, and although a few exhibit low altitude lighting, all appear to be lit at the mainstream listed dates and times. Two peculiar observations can be made. First that all occurred during waxing phases, and all were in the viewable portion of the moon. Perhaps the last line in Pink Floyd’s best album is true; “There is no dark side of the moon.”
