Report – High Range M atrices Test (HRMT) This test was sent to me by a R eddit user interested in assessing the statistics. I decided to arbitrarily set the time limit to 90 minutes after some internal testing. It was later determined through another user th at the author of the test is a Polish B iologist. The test was published in 2011 with a 2 hour time limit. The author died in 2019. Raw Data 75 people completed the test. 55 people submitted previous PIQ results. The average score was 19. 6 SD 4.1 Regressions HRMT vs Average PIQ The following plot is the correlation between HRMT raw score and Average PIQ. Average PIQ was calculated by taking the unweighted average score of all PIQ scores submitted by a testee. The following tests were allowed and utilized in the calculation: • ANY PROFESSIONAL NON - VERBAL TEST (WAIS, SB, RAIT, Cattell) • Other accepted tests : TRI - 52, Raven’s 2 (Qglobal only), SACFT (ChipDouglas Norm), FRT. The correlation was r = 0.49 at N = 55 uncorrected. Descriptive Statistics N Range Minimum Maximu m Sum Mean Std. Only Qglobal forms were acceptable for use. The correlation was r = 0.64 at N= 25 HRMT vs TRI - 52 TRI - 52 scores were collected and compared to HRMT. The correlation was r = 0.29 at N = 18 Time vs HRMT While the correlation between time usage and score was not significant, there did appear to be an advantage to using most or all of your time.
