HTPN_4445_2018 BID Purpose • To build upon the doctor of pharmacy (PharmD) education and outcomes to develop community-based pharmacist practitioners with diverse patient care, leadership, and education skills who are eligible to pursue advanced training opportunities including postgraduate year two (PGY2) residencies and professional certifications. • A unique aspect of this community residency program, is the increased focus on ambulatory care. In addition, the graduate of this program will be able to function as adjunct faculty for a college of pharmacy.
