SINAG LITERARY MAGAZINE accepts submissions in both English and Filipino for the following genres:  Short stories of 2 to 4 pages (2000 to 3500 words) in 12 point Times Roman, New York, Palatino, Book Antique, Arial, or equivalent fonts, double-spaced. The submission of a collection of short prose pieces would be accepted.  A collection of three to six poems, from which the editors can select three to five for publication. In terms of a suite, long poems would be considered.  Literary and personal writings, such as memoirs, interviews, and other personal essays, are subject to the same length restrictions as short fiction (see above).  Critical/scholarly essays are limited in length to the same extent as short stories are (see above).  Kids stories or picture books on not more than ten printed pages, 6"x9" in black and white. The works must not also be submitted for consideration elsewhere. 2. All entries must be original and unpublished previously. 3. Any submission must be completed with a cover letter and a biographical sketch of not more than one or two paragraphs (including contact details for the author). 4. Proposals can be sent to [email protected] (FILIPINO) and [email protected] (ENGLISH) via e-mail. Using [Language], [Genre], [Title] and [the Author's last name] as the subject line and filename format. E.g. Filipino, Tula, Tutubi, Prestoza, for instance. A.DOC,.DOCX or.RTF file should be attached. 5. All submissions (via e-mail or mail) should be sent by June 14, 2021 at the latest. 6. Each submission is subject by its publishers to a strict screening and blind arbitration and a referee panel made up of distinguished authors and critics from both the Philippines and abroad. Publication Fee: Non-member – 2,700 Institutional Member – 2,295 Individual Member – 2,160 *The author will receive a FREE COPY of the magazine, and a certificate. *Shipping fee is already included.
