It's a rainy day as you cuddle your blankets As the rain hits the roof Making a loud but calming sound As you sleep like a baby in her mother's arms Isn't sound a beautiful thing? The light hits your eyes As you leave the blankets Birds chirping, 10 Trees shaking from the heavy but lovely breeze As you sit under the shade, free from stress Is beauty enough to describe sound? You sobbing and reminiscing Days with your lover As music starts playing Tears stop flowing As the song stops the bleeding Sound truly is a beautiful thing 11 MEMORIES Crying clouds and a muddy road I get my boots and kick the ball Me and the boys feeling like Ronaldo 5 goals and muddy clothes Mom takes me indoors A warm bath and clean clothes I sit and watch my favorite show As the cloud's tears flow down the window Sipping hot chocolate under the blanket I cuddle Living life as a king 12 My 8-year-old self falls asleep Free from the stress and filled with dreams 13 MUSIC OF THE FOREST The calm river represents peace Water flowing with ease I stare into it and I see the moon As the rest of the forest makes a soothing tune Trees stretching out to the sky Baby birds learning how to fly Mountains and hills working as shelter for others Baby deer follow their mother Bees making honey 14 Living in harmony I want to sing along But there is no room for me in the song Wishing the forest was my home But I'll kill the harmony So I'll sit peacefully And listen quietly Maybe there will be room for me when I'm 40 Hopefully I'll fit into the harmony When my heartbeat is calmer Calm like the river 15 THE BENCH A pond filled with water Surrounded by unique trees And an old but clean bench The bench had so many stories Some were funny, others were sad But the bench had no one to tell its stories to It watched everything in silence As everyone came and went Hoping for someone to stay and listen 16 PRICE OF LIVING The moon is out and the stars are shining People are sleeping and some are working Trying to pay the price for living But why pay to live? Why not just leave? Is it really something we need? I say we rebel We can live like Adam and Eve Before they ate the fruit We can grow crops and eat 17 Live life like our ancestors did Was it really as bad as we think? Well I wouldn't live without the internet We love to sin and that's no lie And we'll pay by not entering the pearly gates Money is like a drug And it's always in rotation And once you have a taste you'll surely get an addiction 18 WE DID NO WRONG Walking from school Talking about music and ladies As we walk we bump into junkies We did them no wrong We were just talking about a song We were 3 and they were 5 or more I could take them all but not at once One got close and gave my friend a punch More were approaching, I knew we were losing So my legs started moving 19 And my other friend did the same Leaving our friend in the mud But to our surprise, he was right behind us He escaped but then we were being chased We ran until we lost our breath We looked behind and it seemed they got tired first 20 SILENT HOUSE Water dripping from the tap Into the empty bathtub Soothing breeze from the window As I sit on the bed with my head on the pillow The wind and my music are the only things I hear Feeling free from stress and fear Keeping my head in the clouds Above the noise of my thoughts I'm flying above cloud nine As the wind hits my face I feel like a drifting dove
