* Covid-19 (coronavirus) UPDATE * ** Covid-19 (coronavirus) update 22nd March 2020 ** We’re still open for business at Computer Plus and Business IT Solutions, but after recent developments regarding Covid-19 (coronavirus) we do need to make some changes to protect both yourself and us. For the workshop, Due to newly released data regarding how long the coronavirus will last on surfaces, we will not be able to work on your machine ‘while you wait’. All items will need to be left with us for repair. All items in for repair will be disinfected before we work on them and disinfected a second time before you collect from us. We ask you to respect ‘social distancing’ and we will have a designated area for you to drop off and pick up items. We will be unable to take payment by cash or cheque for the foreseeable future. Payment can be made by any credit or debit card or by online banking (BACs). All parts and repaired items will need to be paid for at the time of collection. We are a Wish pick up point. This requires you to show us a QR code on your mobile ‘phone that we need to scan in to hand you your items. We ask that you either email your QR code to support@computerplus.co.uk before you collect or place your mobile ‘phone face up on the counter, with the QR code showing, and take two steps back so we can scan the code in and locate your items. If you require any printing, you will need to email the items you require printing to support@computerplus.co.uk. We will print out the pages you require and telephone you as soon as they are available for pickup. If you require any pages photocopied, it is important to note that coronavirus can survive on cardboard for 24 hours. We are assuming that this is the case for paper so we would require your paperwork be left with us for 24 hours before we copy it. We will telephone you as soon as they are available for pickup. For onsite calls, We will call you before we visit to let you know as are on the way. We will also ask if you or anyone you have been in contact with is suffering from the symptons of Coronavirus. We may need to work out a different way of resolving your problem(s) or postpone your appointment if you or anyone you have been in contact with is suffering symptons. We do carry hand sanitiser with us and apply this before and after we visit you, but for the foreseeable future we will need to use your facilities to wash our hands when we first arrive with and before we leave. We will be unable to take payment by cash or cheque for the foreseeable future. Payment can be made by any credit or debit card or by online banking (BACs). These may seem like extreme measures but we have to take these measures because one of our staff is asthmatic and falls into the high risk category. Thank you for your co-operation.
